Q: Is this good for a desk top computer? Like an iMac ?
A: Yes, I really love it. It is just the right size for a a lap top or small desk top and a basket for my bills. I didn't want anything bulky. I have had it for over a year and still enjoy!

Q: Just built it and had to go out of town. What height chair or stool for this desk?
A: Hi Joe - I recommend a chair with a standard seat height between 17 to 19 inches or you may want to consider an adjustable desk chair. I hope this helps. Have a great weekend! - Philip
submitted byPhilip - 7 years agoTarget staff supportA: We used a classic rolling desk chair that adjusts for height and it fits perfectly. The arms need to be less than 24" to fit UNDER the desk. Our chairs adjust, you would not want the seat to go much higher than 20" for a comfortable fit for your legs. Hope that helps.
submitted byTeaHat - 7 years agoA: 18" is a good height. The bottom of the desk is about 24.5" off the floor. If you have armrests on the chair, they will have to be lower than that.

Q: What is the thickness of the material used? For instance what is the thickness of the desktop?

Q: do any of the desks come assembled? does the local Target stores offer this?
A: The upper part of the desk which includes the drawers was factory assembled. The only parts that need to be attached are the legs and the rear support.

A: Yes, Salsa is the color and it's by Valspar.

Q: How deep are the drawers and do they pull out all the way?
A: Hi Carolyn - It's good to know what this handsome piece will hold. The center drawer is 14.01 inches deep and extends out 9.84 inches when open.The drawers on the left and right side are 10 inches deep and extend 5.9 inches when open. Hope this is helpful, thanks! - Shelly
