If you are unsure about the dye stability of a particular items, test the Fabric Spray on an inside seam or inconspicuous place first. The Tide Antibacterial Fabric Spray is safe to use on clothing. A:Â Our Tide Antibacterial Fabric Spray can be used on clothing, but the garment must dry completely before you wear it. It's not to be used on fabric currently being worn, and it's not necessary to launder before wearing. We hope this helps! If you wish to remove the scent, we suggest rewashing the items with the hottest water safe for the fabric, using the recommended amount of detergent and fabric softener. A: Thanks for asking. To sanitize soft surfaces, clean heavily soiled areas before application. From a distance of 6-8 inches, spray a spot (2” x 2” area) evenly until damp to kill bacteria. Fabric must remain wet for 5 minutes. Effective against Enterobacter aerogenes and Staphylococcus aureus. This product is safe to use on virtually all fabrics except for leather, suede, silk, or fabrics that show water marks. For a noticeably fresh home, spray fabrics, carpets, and air all around your home.
