I don't know why I'm surprised, but the food container that costs less than one lunch is pretty lousy. After a month of daily driving this bento box the lid completely broke, which meant that everything leaked. Thankfully I never really trusted this container so I always kept it inside a plastic bag. The only reason that I don't give it 1 star is that the glass part seems to be pretty decent, so I will probably keep it.

I liked the glass container BUT the plastic lid, oh my goodness. It is sooo poorly made. It only lasted a week before it started braking and falling apart. Not satisfied with this product. I do not recommend.

I loved these containers after the first 2 I bought so I bought 2 more when I found them again. But I’ve noticed several of the lids have cracked from just snapping them into place on the bottom. I still love using these containers for meal prep but I’m worried about possible leaking now or the cracks spreading so I wouldn’t buy any more of these. I’ve never dropped them and I’ve also had the Ello glass containers with plastic lid for a while now and they have never cracked so I’m not sure what the cause is.

The glass portion of the container is great, but the lids on these are absolutely terrible. Purchased two of these between Thanksgiving and Christmas in '22 and both lids are already cracked from use, and they've not gone in the dishwasher at any point. It seems like the plastic used for the lids is not strong enough for the seal they have around the glass base. They seal extremely well, but the plastic doesn't hold up at all, just pulls and cracks. It's worth spending the extra $3-4 per container to get the Ello ones instead.

Just like the other reviews, the lid cracked after a week of use & the clip on the side broke off. Never dropped it & handwashed it so I’m unsure what happened. It’s hard to believe an ice pack in a lunch box could do that but it’s disappointing nonetheless.

These are easy to travel with and my fiancé likes to bring these to work for his lunch. They are dishwasher safe which makes for an easy clean up solution. I also like that they are glass. We try to limit the amount of plastic we have in our household.

The lid broke after a few uses. It’s cheap hard plastic and it starts cracking as soon as you start using it. When you clamp the sides down the clear plastic makes a sound like it’s crinkling and you can see small spider cracks coming from the side. After doing that a couple of times the clear piece that holds the blue clamp on shattered. The glass part seems to be very well made but it’s useless without a lid.

I love the size of these but the lids are absolutely terrible. The rubber lining is a pain to keep putting back together and two out of five lids have already cracked into pieces. This product is not worth the price.
