Q: Would there be any space between the floor and the bottom of the inside of the storage space? I'm wondering if I could cut a hole in the bottom trim to redirect the air coming out of the vent on my floor.

Q: If I buy 2 of these L shaped benches to create a large 3 sided dining bench, would the middle match up or would ther e be a gap due to the trim pieces and slight overhang of each seat where they meet?

A: Crissy P, Thank you for your interest in the Tobin Backless Corner Breakfast Nook. Should you decide to put two of the benches together, there would initially be a gap due to the molding. The base molding is slightly longer than the top of the bench.

A: The last image is a dimensional drawing for the corner nook. It has that each side is 62-1/2" with the lift top section being 45-1/2 and the corner being 16-1/2.

My order has been delayed since JULY. Every time I’ve contacted customer support they’ve told me it’ll be the last time the order is delayed but now it’s delayed until October. I don’t understand why it’s taking months to ship this. At this point I’m not sure if I should just cancel the order

It’s sturdy, large, and way more than I bargained for. We are now rearranging our living room to make this work. The color is almost like a white wash; you can see the wood grain still. It’s so pretty! It has hinges to keep it from slamming close. If your style is the white/farmhouse type of style and you have the space, you want this. Tons of storage room. We opted to put the divider on only one side to leave one side a large open space.

The holes are marked so if you follow the instruction you won’t have a problem. It has lots of storage room and feels durable so we are planning to get many years out of it well made. Just be patient with the assembly.

It’s an amazing piece to your living room or bedroom and doesn’t take up space. I love that you can use it to sit and also to store stuff while decorating it with pillows and a throw blanket. We had to recently take our fabric chairs out because they kept getting scratched up by the cats. We wanted something that we think is going to last quite some time and isnt as easily damaged. This is perfect! it has a bunch of storage space and it fits nicely in the corner. it is very sturdy and can seat multiple people we have a little round coffee table that it pairs great with. It took a little longer than we expected it to put together but it is a nice bench. We got some cards and board games in it and its nice to sit at when we have people over. Its somewhere to sit and somewhere to put stuff. For us its perfect! I like it a lot more than i thought i would and its exceeded my expectations. We are happy we got it.

I got this bench for the best price based on other stores. It arrived quickly but there was damage to some of the wood. It is on the harder end to put together but we like it. There is a ton of storage and just needs a cushion to complete the look.

Love this breakfast nook, I got someone to assemble and professionally attach to wall (which I recommend so crumbs don’t get behind it). One of the pieces had a small crack but it was a piece that went against the wall and didn’t effect that stability or durability of furniture. Would definitely recommend!

This is a good quality bench with a lot of storage inside. We added some extra support to the bottom because I store my kitchen appliances and heavy baking dishes ect... inside. It is very nice looking and well made. It takes time to put togeather but if you follow the directions you will be fine. We are very happy with this bench!

This is a beautiful banquette, but buyer beware!! When I unpacked it, I discovered several cracks in one of the front panels. There was also a major part missing entirely, and the three pine slabs that make up the seats were all badly scraped, and not in a way that could be characterized as intentionally "rustic. When I called customer service, I was told that no replacement parts were available in the warehouse since the item is manufactured abroad, and that it would take at least 3 months to get any. It was recommended that I return the entire bench (all 100-plus pounds of it) to Target for a refund, then order a replacement. I have indeed returned the bench and am now awaiting delivery of the same item from Walmart. It may prove to be the same story, but at least Walmart's price is much less than Target's for this item.

Arrived timely w/o damage. Easy to put together but you do need 1 other person to help. We love this for our small dining area in our apt. Super sturdy. Feels built to last. Love the look!
