These shorts are thick & don't have much of any stretch to them. The material tag says it's the same blend as last year's Cat & Jack cotton shorts but they are DEFINITELY not. Last year's were a thinner cotton, Tshirt like, with great stretch, movement & perfect for Texas spring/summer for our little one. I got all 4 colors of this year's online because it said it was the same blend & was so disappointed that they feel more like flannel or sweats & fit pretty stiff so he won't be getting much wear out of these.

Cat & jack has the best fit for my little guy. He has a belly so it’s hard finding bottoms that aren’t too tight in the waist. These are my toddlers favorite shorts because they are comfortable and has pockets. 3 year old 38 inches tall 33 pounds size 4t fits great with plenty of room to grow!
