The fit and quality are great! My sons feet haven’t grown much and we are about 10 months in these shoes and he wears these daily! He’s an active boy and is on the playground daily. Not sure why some report these wear out in less than two month… ours have no tears or unreasonable amount of wear.

Fell apart within 2 months. The sole is coming detached from the upper shoe and the finish on the shoe is flaking off. Does not hold up well. For the price I would buy a bigger name brand shoe that will hold up.

I've purchased shoes from this brand for years because of the quality - they hold up better than any other brand I've tried for toddler shoes. The Torin style, however, started coming apart one week after my kid wore them. The soles of each shoe started coming away at the toe. This has never happed with any of the other styles I've purchased.

The shoes themselves fit my wide-footed boys great! My only initial complaint was that the velcro strap was SO long it almost drags on the floor. After a few weeks of light wear, they are falling apart :( So sad since they fit great and were pretty flexible for small growing feet.

We have loved this brand for years, but we were disappointed that our 3 year old son and daughter wore these (and the pink girl version) one time on their first day or preschool and the insoles already bunched up and fell out. Now they don’t lay flat and they pitch a fit putting them in because understandably, they’re uncomfortable. I wish I could rate them five star, but these are unusable. I’m taking them back to Target and contacting Stride Rite. Hopefully they will see and hear peoples concerns and rectify the issue. I want to love these shoes again!

I’m really disappointed in these shoes. I have purchased varieties of the surprize shoes for my son for a few years and the last two pairs have been poor quality. The fabric on the inside of the shoe pulled up after 2 wears. The stitching around the outside of the shoe started to fall apart within a week so portions of the shoes were loose. After less than 2 months of use, I had to throw them away. My son wore them maybe 3-4 days a week. I will not purchase these anymore.
