This safety gate is a mix of metal and wood materials which makes a striking combination. The metal gate frame is a deep graphite color while the gate door has a washed wood finish inspired by natural driftwood found along the shore. The natural grain pattern of this driftwood color makes a stunning addition to this gate. Packed with safety features, this gate can be used in wider room openings or at the bottom of stairs measuring 29.75 to 52 inches wide and comes with three extensions. The extra-wide 22 inch gravity-fed hinge door allows this gate to shut firmly and gently behind you with one simple push. For added convenience, the gate door swings open both ways and offers a triple-locking system to keep your little one protected. To keep the gate open, just push the door past 90 degrees and the hold-open feature will kick-in, preventing closure. It was perfect at first. Finally, a gate the kids didn't have to remember to close! But within a few months, the auto close function was no longer working. The top rail of the gate broke at one of the hinges. Finally the entire gate broke off at the hinges. I expected more than five months out of an $80 gate.

It’s pretty but the wood gate part may as well be made out of paper. My 4 year old leaned on it and it broke and I called and customer service said there weren’t any more to replace it. I had purchased 2 so I wanted 2 to match. After my husband put screws and brackets to fix the wood part that was broken and then my son with autism leaned on it and the same thing happened again. The gate is useless.

The gate is very high quality and sturdy!! We use it to block off certain areas from the kids and animals. Was a little difficult when trying to add the Extensions. All in all send to be a long lasting product!!

It's a perfect door for what I was looking for, I have a toddler running around the house and wanted something not block the stairs and this serves the purpose. Goes with my wood stairs and very easy to assemble, comes with extra long allignments to put so that the door can become widen.

You can't go wrong with Toddleroo by North States Driftwood Extra Wide Gate. It came well packaged and was not difficult to set up/install. It looks trendy and the quality of the material used is great. If you are looking for a trendy, sturdy and reliable baby gate,this is your answer right here. I love the fact that the gate can go both ways. Needless to say, the style and color is a plus for me. This was set up downstairs in the children living room area I love it and will recommend it

Made from sturdy materials, this gate is very well constructed. Having a baby gate is a must have for any parents. This gate keeps my kids out of the kitchen where harm can come to them. I like not worrying if the kids can reach the stove. Having peace of mind that they are safe is wonderful.

I really love Toddlerroo Gates. This is the third gate that I have and I absolutely love the functionality as well as the simplicity of how well the gate is to use and install. It took me about twenty minutes to figure out the measurements and assorted pieces I needed to fit the space where I wanted the gate to be located. The most difficult part was tightening the little knobs against the wall; otherwise it was a very smooth process. I really love the color of this particular gate, it really looks good with the room and flooring in the space I chose to use it in. It’s also easy enough for small humans to get through and use which is a great functional property. The added pieces are easy to figure out while following directions and the process is a lot easier than competitors products of the same item. I have 3 kids so I have used several different gates and these are my preferred brand and type. I love that they come in several different styles and colors that fit multiple different spaces. Overall this is a great gate that is perfect for my family and what I need it for.

Love this gate! Love the look and colors. The metal and the wood make it look like part of the house. It’s great that it fits normal doorways or extra wide spaces. Super easy to set up. It can swing open both way. It’s easy for adults to open, but hard little toddlers. My 4 year old can open it no problem, but the 1 year old cannot. Can’t go wrong with this gate!

I needed a gate for a doorway with a little wider opening, so this was perfect as it can fit an opening up to 52 inches. The setup was pretty easy, although the directions and illustrations could have been a little more clear. I like that the gate has the auto-close feature or you can choose to keep it open. It seems sturdy and well-made and should work well for the space where I need it.

What can I say - it’s a gate. It does it’s job. It was really easy to set up and install. It’s tension mounted, which is nice that we didn’t have to put any screws in the wall. It’s self closing, but if you push it all the way open, it stays open. Right now we have it at the bottom of the stairs, but plan on moving it to the kitchen, where the doorway is a lit larger. And this gate will fit it because it can fit openings up to 30”

Absolutely the most sturdy, reliable gate I have had! It is not only appealing to look at but it works great! I love that it is adjustable and I can use it in a couple different places. It stays put and does not collapse at all, even if pushed, leaned or bumped on. The latch is so easy to use too. It keeps both my pets and my young daughter from getting into an area that is off limits. It holds up so well and is such a quality gate. I will NEVER go back to the gates I used years ago. When there is quality like this, there is no need to.

This is the gate I wanted 6 years ago with my first, but all they had then were white painted or plastic or wood. We used this to block access to our attic bedroom. Just the basic frame was wide enough in our 1920s doorway. My kids are 3 and 6, and quickly figured out how to open it, though I'm sure most who need this product will have younger children, or pets who will be unable to do so. Sturdy construction, easy instructions for installation, no damage to the doorway if we need to remove temporarily. Glad basic childproofing items continue to evolve. Buy this gate if you have a kid or pet to contain! You won't be disappointed!

Baby gates have come a long way since I had my first child 8 years ago! This baby gate is so beautiful and goes well with my farmhouse / boho aesthetic. The installation takes about 20 minutes and it is easy to do.

Love the look of this gate over the classic white style. It has extensions to work with wider openings 30"-52", which is exactly what we needed. Door swings both ways - not for use at the top of stairs. Overall, it was easy to install and use.

There are a few things that stand out about this gate. I like that you can adjust it to fit a regular size doorway OR a very wide space. This fits our 48 inch opening to our living room and doesn't look like an eyesore like some of the gates we've had have looked like in the past. I would say this is our favorite one we've ever had, and we have gone through quite a few gates over the years. It's a pressure-mounted gate where the rubber doesn't hurt the walls and installation was very simple.

With kids and pets, my family uses baby gates in several areas of our house. What is so fantastic about this gate is that it has three extensions so that we can make it fit in various size door openings. Furthermore, it’s so well made and sturdy that I have complete confidence it will keep everyone safe. The gate opens both ways, closes automatically, and stays open easily when we choose. Finally, I really like the color combination of gray metal and brown wood material. It looks much nicer than most baby gates on the market!

I absolutely love my Toddleroo by North States baby gate. The color of it is perfect. I love that it has 2 different colors/designs on it. This baby gate is so easy to put together and use. We needed to use 1 of the extra piece to widen the gate, it was easy to add. The gate door opens both ways which I love. It also has a open gate hold, you need to push it completely open and the gate part holds open. We have it in our hall way, so most of the day it is open but when we need it close a soft push and it closes. The gate is hard for my toddler to open, but easy for myself. It has a slide button on top you slide, then pick up a little and the gate is able to swing open. Overall I am love with this gate.

My favorite part of this gate is how adjustable it is for if I need to move it elsewhere later on. It’s super tall so even my little climbing toddler has given up on trying to get over it. It automatically closes which is also nice as forgetful as my husband tends to be with closing it. The wood is beautiful so it doesn’t look like a bulky white gate in my home. I am super happy to have this gate, as someone with two curious toddlers it has made life so much easier.
