The gate is great if you have one doorway to block and don't plan on moving it. The new design doesn't allow you to lift the locking bar and adjust the width. You now have to push a button on the bar and slide the top of the gate back and forth. The bar itself is basically unmovable. It almost requires two people to get the gate to the correct width since one hand has to hold the button down. Also to get the gate secure enough you have to use the included door sockets or else the gate can easily be pushed over. The door sockets adhere to the door frame with sticky squares, also included, but once adhered, you can't move them to another door without prying them off and then you would need more adhesive to apply them to the other door.
