A: Is Target trying to avoid answering this question or do they not know what septic tanks are? With a septic system you have to be careful what you use. I'd like to know the answer to the question too!

Q: The description says it's unscented but the ingredients tab lists like 20 different fragrance ingredients. Which is correct?

A: "Unscented" doesn't usually mean fragrance free. This stuff contains other chemicals to cover up the chemical smells.

A: The active ingredient is hydrochloric acid which will dissolve rust and remove many stains. However, it may not remove stains or rust that have leached into the porcelain.

The only cleaner I will use for our toilets must have bleach. I bought this by accident on a drive up order. It literally leaves mold in my toilet because of our water. Only bleach cleans and disinfects our toilets. This Smells bad too!

I highly recommend this toilet bowl cleaner. (Do yourself a favor; don’t use ANY toilet bowl cleaner to clean anything besides a toilet bowl!) It is cheaper than the name brands but works just as well. I think it smells better than the name brands too - fresh and clean without being too strong. I know this sounds weird, but the smell reminds me of root beer. I’ve purchased this product many times and haven’t had any issues with the cap or bottle leaking; I use a piece of TP to twist the cap open & closed each time I use it. I also haven’t had any issues with blue staining, but I don’t leave the product to sit for very long. You do need to (lightly) scrub the entire bowl to remove all the blue residue, otherwise it won’t just flush away.

When I went to buy my usual brand it was out of stock, so I went with this since I'm generally a big believer in generic products. I really wanted to like this but... First off the cap is defective and it leaked all over the outside of the bottle and my hands. But the worst part? It didn't clean. I scrubbed that toilet far more than usual and it's still not clean. My usual brand I don't even have to scrub (but I do anyway.) Never again.
