Worst bottle we’ve ever used. Nipple folds it self in half of milk gets on baby not in baby

Hi Ricky, We appreciate you letting us know about this issue - we want to make feeding baby as easy as possible, not more messy! It's possible that the nipple is collapsing because the sensitive silicone valve can sometimes stick together before first use or when not used for a long period of time. To check the valve, please follow the steps below: 1. Locate the silicone valve. It is at the base of the stem and looks like a little dome 2. Check that the slit in the silicone has not sealed shut. It’s tiny and clear, so holding it to the light helps 3. If the valve has sealed closed, pull it apart gently between your fingers to re-open After you follow these steps, you should wash all parts in warm soapy water, rinse and sterilize. We hope this helps! If you continue having issues please call our toll-free number at 1-877-248-6922 so we can take care of this for you. All the best, The Tommee Tippee team

Nipple is terrible

I was so disappointed, I bought it because I love the design and the idea of anti-colic. The nipple is terrible, I pump and fed my baby and half of the milk was on his shirt, what a waste of breastmilk. I wish I could return. I will stick to the doctor brown anti colic those are perfect a little plain looking but worth every penny.

Well, I completely agree with negative reviews from other people. I’ve tried everything under the sun to make these bottles to work and they still leak (checking seal, checking the membrane, making sure milk doesn’t get inside the stem, not warming it up, warming it up, and so on) I don’t understand how am I suppose to mix the formula if you can’t shake these bottles, you can’t warm them up, basically you have to pour the warm milk in it and expect it to work. Very disappointed in this brand since we had everything Tommee, from pacifiers to bottle warmers!

Hi there, We're sorry to hear about the issues you've been experiencing but appreciate you letting us know about it so that we can try to fix this for you and continue to make improvements on our products. It sounds like you've tried a few options to fix this, so please try the following or give us a call: 1. Please check for water in the air hole. The silicone valve—the little dome-shaped piece at the base of the stem—allows air to flow up the straw and out of a small air hole. If water is too hot when poured in the bottle, it can enter the straw and travel up to the air hole on the screw ring, causing a leak. What you can do: Let water cool for a while after boiling, before pouring it into the bottle. According to the World Health Organisation, 30 minutes is the ideal cooling time. 2. Check if the round silicone valve at the base of the straw is torn. If so, please call our toll-free number at 1-877-248-6922. We will provide you with a replacement if the product is damaged. Thank you for being a loyal customer of ours, we hope this has helped. Best regards, The Tommee Tippee team

I never thought that an inanimate object such as a bottle could anger me so much. This bottle is for you if you like you and your child completely soaked in milk. The leaking is awful. And this is not a temperate issue, as my son eats his formula room temp. I keep trying them over and over and sadly they’re just going in the trash.

Hi Rebecca, we appreciate you letting us know about the issues you’ve been experiencing and hope that it's not too late to try the following steps: 1. The first possible reason the bottle is leaking is the presence of water in the air hole. The silicone valve—the little dome-shaped piece at the base of the stem—allows air to flow up the straw and out of a small air hole. If water is too hot it can enter the straw and travel up to the air hole on the screw ring, causing a leak. It sounds like you are feeding milk at room temperature though, so this may not be the issue. 2. The second possibility is a torn round silicone valve at the base of the straw. If this is the case, please call our toll-free number at 1-877-248-6922, or send a message through our contact page at www.tommeetippee.us/contact-us. We will provide you with a replacement if the product is damaged. Thank you, The Tommee Tippee Team

Nipple is too flimsy, will not stay in my baby’s mouth, he cannot latch onto it. He does fine with the advent bottle. Leaks! It leaks every time! Frustrating. Also, this causes my baby to be colicky even more! Don’t waste yours money!
