Unleash non-stop entertainment and gaming with TP-Link's Archer C2300 AC2300 Wireless MU-MIMO Gigabit Router. The router is engineered for top-notch performance with a leading-edge 1.8 GHz dual-core 64-bit CPU and powerful XStream processing architecture.

The Archer C2300 sends more bandwidth and creates faster connections for 4K streaming and gaming. Wave 2 AC2300 Wi-Fi delivers up to 2225 Mbps over dual 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands to provide up to 204% more throughput than AC750 routers , letting you game at the highest settings while streaming content on multiple devices without slowing down your Wi-Fi.

With XStream processor architecture, the Archer C2300 dedicates one processor to each of its Wi-Fi bands. These processors handle Wi-Fi traffic, freeing the router's powerful 1.8 GHz dual-core 64-bit CPU to take care of everything else. All this extra brainpower keeps your Wi-Fi running smoothly so everyone in your home can enjoy what they love most, whether that's watching Netflix, gaming online, streaming music-or all of the above.

MU-MIMO lets the Archer C2300 talk to several devices at once, and Smart Connect automatically places each device on the best available Wi-Fi band. With both working together, everyone can hop online at the same time without having to wait, and each device can always get the best connection.

RangeBoost amplifies the router's ability to detect and receive Wi-Fi signal from devices that are located farther away. Beamforming locates Wi-Fi devices and focuses the router's wireless signal toward them instead of sending it in all directions at once. With both, the Archer C2300 lets you stream, game and enjoy what you love anywhere in your home, from your favorite spot on the couch to the comfort of your bed.

TP-Link HomeCare comes with powerful antivirus, which works from the router to automatically protect every connected device in your home.* HomeCare actively blocks malicious sites, prevents intruders and quarantines infected devices to keep your family safe from a continuously updated list of cyber threats.

*Free 3-year subscription of TP-Link HomeCare powered by Trend Micro included. Deactivation will disable certain security features.

I purchased the Archer 2300 June 4, 2018, 45 days ago. The selling point in selecting it off the shelf was the packaging that touted they were "rated the best in customer satisfaction" and had a 2 year warranty (Note: no copy of the warranty inside the package.) Initially it worked well. Two days...see moreof the reviewer's review

Bought to get extra range in our home which worked as advertised. Don't have trouble connecting any device other than iOS devices. Sometimes iOS devices connect and sometimes they don't. When they don't connect they don't get internet at all since it goes to WiFi first. The phone says it is connecte...see moreof the reviewer's review

It works out of the box, after first configuration, works. I added guest network, and it locked up. It took me 2 days to get it reset back to factory settings. Sometime later I adjusted the channel, it saved and worked, I adjusted the wifi channel again, it saved...and never came back up. Left unplu...see moreof the reviewer's review

I've had the router only 4 days and had to factory reset it once. That was due to the parental features quitting. When I originally set it up, the parental controls work for the first 2 days. After completing installing a external hard drive and making it available to me outside of the network all p...see moreof the reviewer's review

The router is solid as a rock...something locked it up and it got pretty hot. This is an addendum to my original review. Based on what I have been reading, there must have been an aberration with this unit. Gets great ratings, but as far as this unit was concerned...hard to justify.see moreof the reviewer's review
