In an centuries old house with 2-prong outlets (no ground). The TP-Link AV1000s were one of the few AV2 setups I could find that were 2-prong. Setup was easy. Throughput to the internet is the full 60 down/ 5 up speed from our ISP. Haven't tested max intra-house speed. Occasional short streaming hic...see moreof the reviewer's review

Powerline networking devices provide an Ethernet connection in an area of your house where you don't currently have network access. These are dead simple to get up and running. Took all of 3 minutes to setup: plugged into wall socket near router, network cable from router to unit. Second unit to outlet near remote laptop that was wifi previously and network cable to that laptop.
