I was tired of the constant IFFY connections that Comcast equipment offered over a myriad of years. I am a systems engineer, and network specialist, so I decided to spend the money to take more control. Figuring that it would take 9 months to recoup the cost, I bought the TC-W7960 and it was an easy...see moreof the reviewer's review

This was supposed to be the top brand, and we are quality focused, so we bought this, and it has been useless with both Xfinity and now Spectrum. We are supposed to be getting 200 mpbs in nyc with Spectrum, and on wifi - we get max 6 and spectrum has tried everything on their end, so its not them. N...see moreof the reviewer's review

This is a useless modem that gives me on most days about a 10mb download speed, where I should be getting at least 60mb. It needs to be constantly reset, and even after that the higher speed last only for a bit, before it needs to be reset again. Do some research and save your money! Now looking to ...see moreof the reviewer's review

Happy with it when it is working, but seems to gradually slow down over a few days. After 2-4 days will have to reset it because it has slowed down so much. Resetting seems to fix it but this gets annoying after a week or so. Not sure why this happens.see moreof the reviewer's review

Got this to use instead of renting from cable. I am signed up for 200 meg, getting 80 thru this wired, and much much worse thru wireless. Tons of drops, slow/stopping wireless. Figured I would try updating firmware-- cant-- no option in settings even though it shows to be lower than other posters on...see moreof the reviewer's review
