I bought this for my teenage son's rooom. The back and seat are molded plastic with a metalic finish. I got the red and it's a perfect accent color. The seat adjusts up and down. He loves it! Easy to assemble. My kids assembled it 10 min. The color was what I expected, candy apple red. It looks great! It is not comfortable after sitting for long periods, as it has no cushion. However it's just what I wanted and perfect for my kids lounge.see moreof the reviewer's review
