Trailmaker Kids' 17" Value Backpack

Started to disintegrate within a couple weeks. Do not buy.

Cheap materials. Didn’t last even half the year for my preschooler who only uses the backpack 2 days a week. Would not last a week for an older child.

Item smells like plastic. I washed the bag to get the smell out but it shredded the “fabric” and still smells. Don’t buy.

Ripped on the first trip/time using it

Falls apart quickly. Barely lasted us 2 months. Very flimsy. Better off spending a bit more on a higher quality item

Worst backpack. It broke, peeled off. Will never buy it again.

This backpack did not hold up. The entire liner inside started peeling and there was specks of liner on everything!! It was a cheap backpack, but I was not expecting paper thin material. Would not recommended. Didn’t last my kid more than 2 months in 1st grade!

After just 8 weeks, this bag has a multiple broken zippers and the interior is shredded. Very poor quality.

Already tearing. Absolutely stop selling this, Target!!

This is the worst quality backpack I have ever encountered. My 4 and 5 year old kids used this for less than a month before it started falling apart. They don’t even put books in their bag, just lunch. The plastic liner on the inside crumbled into tiny pieces that stuck to everything and the fabric was tearing. What a waste of money.

Terrible quality backpack. Didn’t survive 1 month of kindergarten. Don’t purchase!

This is super cute but VERY thin. We've used it a total of 9 times, only for carrying a snack and an empty folder for a preschooler, and I noticed today the bottom is starting to fall apart. There's no way it'll make it the whole school year.

Backpack was cute for my kindergartener, but it did not last two weeks. The inside material comes off in little pieces and gets all over everything. My daughter is very disappointed.

I purchased this backpack for my son who is in 2nd grade. He started school in September, so he has been using this bag for less than 20 days. The only thing he has been using this bag for is his work folder, which has been empty so far, minus a paper for me to sign one day. He carries this bag to school and then it sits in his locker all day until it's time to ride the bus home, so its worn/carried for maybe 20 minutes max in the am and pm, completely empty minus a paper folder and it's already falling apart. All the black lining inside the bag is cracked and falling off in small and big chunks. Because the lining is falling out, the bag is now see through when looking at it. This bag is disgusting and looks like it's been used heavily all year long. I have never had a backpack fall apart like this in less than 3 weeks. I have never had a backpack like this fall apart ever, even after a whole school year. And all he has used this for is a folder and then only holding it for 20 minutes a day practically empty. I can only imagine what it would look like if he actually had to carry any books or supplies every day. This bag is not worth any amount, nevermind the price I paid for it. It's complete garbage.

This was an adorable bag I bought in the store. It is 3 weeks into school and we have to get a new one. It’s used for a kindergartener so for the price (and how little it’s ‘used’) I definitely expected it to last longer. The main zipper compartment teeth won’t stay together after it’s zipped. There are also wear holes in the bottom of the bag and the side holder elastic won’t hold a water bottle well anymore. Pretty disappointed.

Definitely not a 17" backpack, it will not even fit a zipper binder that is 15.5 inches also seems to be very cheaply made.

The backpack is cute. I loved everything about it when I bought. A month went by and the inside of the backpack is chipping and torn. I completely understand the wear and tear on the outside of a backpack. The inside to be already failing apart and we haven’t had the backpack that long and took good care of it. My other children’s backpacks are still in excellent shape. I bought a different brand. I’m highly disappointed with the quality and hope that I can exchange or return it.

Not a great quality backpack. The backpack lasted less than 3 weeks and the main compartment has a huge hole on the bottom.

This backpack is the perfect size for my little Kindergartner! We love the print and the colors
