submitted byNick - 9 months agoA:Â Apart from its color, the Tonkanator is identical to G1 Devastator. Both have the same, few metal parts, but they are made largely out of plastic.
submitted bytricuspid - 8 months agoA:Â I would assume it will use the same mold as the 2018 Vintage G1 reissue. particularly as it is the most recent mold. I did notice it has the red eyes.

Great idea and concept however the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. I would have loved to see the G1 package like how it was when we grew up with them not multi language and the box is pretty cheap as well. The toys themselves are not the greatest of quality to compared to the g1 set of Devastator.

Not a bad figure, but needs better qc. The figure’s joints cracked as soon as I combined them, not sure if it’s only my copy. Buyers beware! I don’t recommend this if, only if you’re interested in retro figures.

As a long-time fan of the Transformers and the Original Tonka Trucks, I can appreciate this. I bought this so I can add to my collection and eventually pass on. Doesn't deserve the negative reviews, because the item targets the 40 year old man who wants to turn back to a time when they were a boy playing with Tonka Toys in their backyard. My only wish was that this was made of die cast metal and painted like Old Tonka Toy. A bit pricey, but there isn't a price tag for things that are nostalgic. :)

As a kid I've always wanted to have a tonka dump truck and g1 transformers, now as an adult I finally got both in one package. plus target's promo of $25 off for any $100 or greater helped a lot to make my decision to buy it easy. now my only problem is to keep everything mint and not use the stickers or maybe just get another set to keep mint the packaging is just gorgeous for an old guy like me
