Went to closest target (New Albany OH. 40 mins away) that said they had six in stock online, this past Sunday. Person told me it's on a skid in the back someplace, to come back Thursday. Called next closest target toy department that also showed 6 in stock, (Grove City OH. ) phone would ring for very long time and was repeatedly picked up and hung up immediately without saying hello.

I was very lucky to find one at my local targets on release day had to ask a worker and he was very nice to go get me one from the back

It's a great figure if you can manage to get one. So many people leaving 1* reviews for distribution and store issues. I don't disagree with those problems, but the review is for the toy, not hasbro or the store. There's other places for that.

What an awful distribution of this item. None made it to north Florida. None at all.

How can stores not have some Inventory for this kind of thing. Prowl too. What’s going on?

I called every store in my area and one even checked with the other stores and said that none of the stores have them in the greater Columbus, OH area due to a delay by manufacturer. I also went to a store and asked an employee if they had them and they said they didn't

pre-order status changed to "backordered". guess it's canceled 😞

Warehouse worker in Canton, OH store couldn't be bothered to get them on release day as they were "up too high" with other boxes. Next day they all magically sold.

Mean lady at the Mechanicsburg, PA location says: We’re not putting anything out! I’ve got 40 shelves to stock and I’m not digging up anything or opening pallets. I never asked her to do anything, she just said this to me at 7AM when I was in the aisle looking for Starscream. And this was the day after (20JULY) the toy was supposed to released (19JULY). Do better, Target!

Excellent figure. Well done Hasbro. I see people are complaining about not being in stores. I had to get the product code and ask an associate to find it for me. They did. 5 were in stock but not on the shelf. So in these early release days you may need to confirm if they are in stock at your store and then ask for them to get you one.

Terrible distribution. Every store either says they don't sell them, or they have them and they aren't on the floor.

How do you screw up the release of one of the most popular characters for the franchise? So many targets here in MN, and none are selling it, and for the ones outside this area that do, dont even have it in stock!

I think I'm done. I've been looking forward to this all month and especially this weekend and come Sunday, first thing I do is look up where is the nearest place that had it in stock. 3 in stock it says, I'm there. When I get there, the associates were very helpful actually and tried their best to find these, but no luck. This was up in Sacramento. Later that day I flew back to San Diego and tried again. 6 in stock it shows, I went to the Target straight from the airport with my sons because we're very excited for this. Again, the associate was very helpful, but again, ZERO found. I left with my spirit pretty broken, perhaps amplified from the travels, but this is really making me rethink why I'm collecting Transformers at all at this point. The new higher prices, the after market mark up (clearly there's demand for figures, can't we just get more in stores for MSRP?), and now this whole release day experience just really makes me never want to buy another figure again. It was extremely disappointing and guess what? No one in this supply chain is going to actually care.
