About the Book
This book is the story of my journey since Mary's passing and what I have learned from my experiences. I hope it will be a source of inspiration.Book Synopsis
When my wife passed away four days before Christmas in 2017 I was devastated. Mary and I had a challenging, exciting and adventurous life together for over 53 years, traveling the globe and finding success in a number of careers. But suddenly she was gone. I had lost my identity and purpose. I cried out: "What now, Lord?" "Why am I still here?" "What do you have in store for me now?" And over the ensuing months God began to show me that, although my role had drastically changed, my identity as his child remained the same and that he still had a purpose in my being here, which he began to reveal to me. And he reassured me, though I was now traveling solo, I would never be alone.
This book is the story of my journey since Mary's passing and what I have learned from my experiences. I hope it will be a source of inspiration for those who have experienced great loss, encouraging them with the knowledge that God is not finished with them, but has much more for them to learn, experience and accomplish.

After reading the book, "Spiritual Entrepreneurship", it was obvious Bill and Mary Harrison were able to transcend the life they had planned and were gradually shown what was possible. Ironically I finished the book the night before Mary passed from this world into the Kingdom.
As is often the case, God reveals Himself in ways which seem so clear, after the death of a loved one. This is often referred to as a "Blessing in Disguise". Having gotten the opportunity to really get to know Bill over the last several years, I knew God still had things He wanted to reveal to Bill, so he could share it with others.
Losing the love of his life has been difficult for Bill, but as you will read in this book about his journey with Mary not by his side, he knows she still is with him. Their love continues on and they will be reunited in their eternal home. Enjoy hearing about how God continues to speak to Bill.

Beautiful. Insightful. Inspirational. In the decade or so that I have known Bill, I didn't have an opportunity to meet his lovely wife Mary. Reading Traveling Solo was my opportunity to know her. It was my opportunity to know them and it was a beautiful experience of love, faith and trial. I found myself smiling as I read about their adventures. Although Mary is no longer here with us in the flesh, I am so glad that Bill is not traveling solo alone. God and Mary are still with him.
