In fact, I just received them and set one up and am shocked that it is the same as in the picture. It was super easy to set up, but sadly I will be returning them due to the color not looking like it does online.

We bought these for my son's home, when his dog's heart condition did not allow that sweet dog to fly, so we all flew to celebrate Christmas with my son and his dog. They shipped very quickly the week of Christmas. These stools were solidly constructed, and showed no blemishes or scratches in the hardwood wood pieces. We assembed them quickly, maybe 10 min for the both of them by my sister and me, including removing them from the box and protective packaging. They look just like the pictures, and are attractive. If I had a bar height countertop or dining table, I would buy them for my home.

We bough a house that already had therse. They are great stools, and we wanted more. We contacted the former residents and they told us they go them through Target. We ordered more, unfortuanalty one of the two stools came damaged. Target was great about the return and replacement! I love Threshold’s items but this was kind of a letdown for me :/ the product arrived chipped in a few places and one of the preassembled pieces was assembled crooked. I ended up having to take it apart and fix it, don’t assemble these unless you have a Phillips on hand. Otherwise they feel sturdy but we’ll see how they hold up.

I've purchased these stools 3x over the past few years (moves) and the quality has always been superb. This time around the quality is horrible. Despite buying sets of 2 the colors don't come close to matching, the finish is VERY uneven and many spots not sanded/rounded so sharp corners. I will be returning and not rebuying.

I bought these stools after buying 2 stools at another store and returning them because I could not get the legs on them. It was extremely difficulty so returned to store.
