For a drugstore hair spray, I’d say this is one of my favorites. I typically don’t reach for this unless I need my curls or my hair due to stay in place depending on the level of finishing you choose this can go from flexible all the way to it being a good hairspray for dancers and cheerleaders. Who need that slick back look.

I’ve been using the TRESemmé Extra Hold Hairspray and it’s a solid go to for keeping styles in place all day. The hold level is strong enough to tame flyaways and control frizz (it claims 24-hour frizz control), but it doesn’t leave my hair feeling stiff or helmet-like, which is a huge plus. It also brushes out fairly easily without leaving a heavy residue. I’m in the military so I slick back my buns and use this product everyday! The mist is fine and distributes evenly, though like most aerosol sprays, you’ll want to use it in a ventilated area. The scent is noticeable, but not overwhelming or unpleasant. It works especially well on updos, curls, and sleek ponytails where you really need that extra staying power. For the price, you get a big 11 oz can, and it performs similarly to some salon brands, it’s not wrong when it’s marketed as “used by professionals.”

Having super curly hair it can be difficult to find hairsprays that ACTUALLY control frizz and keep the hairstyle in place . This is one of my absolute favorites that I use everyday since it has strong hold but doesn’t leave a white film over the hair and can be brushed out perfectly !

This hairspray effectively holds my hair in place without lifting throughout the day, the smell isnt over bearing like most hairsprays, the packaging is good, and it’s a very good price for the amount of product you get.

I have used this product for more than 20 years. I love how it holds my hair. The scent never bothers me and it leaves my hair, not crunchy at all. My whole family uses this product and I’m sure my children will once they move out.

I'm not sure if this controls my frizz to much, but it deifinetly holds my hair in place. I only use hair spray when doing my hair for events, so I dont use it often, but the bottle seems to last awhile
