My teenage daughter needed a new desk for her bedroom and Target had a great sale at the time so I said why not? Very easy to put together (daughter wanted to do it on her own actually). Looks beautiful in her room and it has a huge surface to study on so she's really happy. I'm super happy with it myself because I got it at half the price practically!
Desk was fine for what it was, but it is a very inexpensive, cheap desk. Perfect for my daughters room at college. The top had a gap in it and apparently that is by design, which was not clear on the description.
This desk is the perfect balance of affordable and quality. It’s not too nice but the great option for your standard home office desk. My only negative would the assembly. It took way too long for the size of the desk. For the reviews about the holes not being properly aligned, I encountered that issue but you really have to pay attention to the instruction booklet. Flipped some things around and everything aligned just fine. I’m extremely satisfied with the finished product. If you're strictly looking for a writing desk, this might not be the best option due to a tiny 2cm gap in the desk.
Desk itself is great and it's a nice size, but assembly was a huge pain. Several pieces were missing holes and some holes did not align correctly. It took a lot more time and effort than it should have. Design wise, the gap is really weird and hard to get used to. That aside, it's a desk and it does it's job.
I am super happy with this desk - especially for the price. It looks great, is a nice size, and was very simple to assemble. It matches the bookshelf I have perfectly. It is worth noting the top surface of the desk is built out of two pieces rather than one solid surface. There is a small gap between the two. It doesn't bother me for using my laptop or writing in notebooks. It could be frustrating if you were writing on a single piece of paper, but I wouldn't recommend that anyway for fear of leaving impressions of your writing on the top.
Overall, exactly what I was looking for in a functional desk with a little storage!
