Description
The Tropic Isle Living Jamaican Black Castor Oil is a multi-purpose oil. Hand processed from pure wildcrafted and organic Jamaican castor beans, JBCO has been know to support hair growth by cleansing the scalp of parasites and toxins that damage hair and slow growth. It is also a great moisture sealant for skin and hair. USE & INSTRUCTIONS: Deep Conditioner: Add 5-6 capfuls of oil to the Tropic Isle Living Jamaican Black Castor Oil Conditioner. Apply to the scalp and hair, cover with a plastic cap for 30-60 minutes. Rinse thoroughly, then style as desired.
Hot Oil Treatment: Apply the Tropic Isle Living Jamaican Black Castor Oil to the scalp. Cover with a plastic cap and sit under a dryer for 25-30 minutes, then wash hair with the Tropic Isle Living Jamaican Black Castor Oil Shampoo.
Curl Sealant: Using a prayer hand motion, glide the oil on to strands following a leave-in conditioner to seal in moisture. Follow with curling gel or styling cream product. INGREDIENTS: 100% Pure Jamaican Black Castor Oil

A: Jamaican castor oil 4 oz bottles have always been glass bottles to my knowledge, at least the extra dark and the regular versions I used in the past.

I've been using this brand for years. I like that it's quality and it's very nourishing to my hair. Yes, as many reviews stated, it is thick and has a strong smell but it works wonders on my thick hair.

I’ve been using the Tropic Isle castor oil in the plastic bottle and it smells fine, but this stuff smells horrible. It smells like cigarettes and it’s so much thicker than the other oil I’ve used. The only reason I bought this one was because the one I usually use was sold out. I love the Tropic Isle castor oil but I will never buy this one again.

Love this stuff. The bottle is different from when I originally started buying this product but it’s all the same. My edges are coming back thick and full. I use this on my eyelashes and eyebrows everyday and they are growing like wildflowers. I also use this and whipped Shae butter as a lotion. Keeps my skin moisturized all day and helped fade some scars. I use it on my stretch marks but I haven’t seen any big results. I’d recommend everyone use this. And use sparingly. A little goes a long way.

I bought 3 of these. One for myself. One for my sons and one for my coworker. I must say this is my go to hair care product. Sometimes I use this instead of lotion. I love how it is fragrance free. I will definitely buy this again. I also purchased the growth oil and the extra dark castor oil as well.
