This book is not a catalog of the species of true bugs of the neotropics.? Section one contains an overview of the true bugs of the neotropics, a general description of their biology, morphology, development, feeding and reproduction and a detailed description of their classification and biogeography. Section two is dedicated to the main groups, i.e., the infraorder containing the families of true bugs. Each chapter will contain a general description of the families included. Aspects related to the biology and ecology of the main species will be covered and the less known species will, at least, be cited.
