Bring home some contemporary style with the Tufted Viscose/Wool Geometric Area Goodweave Rug by Project 62. Featuring a gray geometric pattern, this lovely rug will bring in timeless charm to any space it's kept in. Made of woolen blend, it comes with a latex backing that'll keep it from slipping away. Just place it by the hallway, in the kitchen or on the porch deck as it's perfect for keeping away excess dirt, dust, grime, stains and more.
Goodweave’s goal is to combat child labor in the handwoven-goods industry, support adult artisans, and provide education to thousands of at-risk children in India who might otherwise need to work. To become certified, manufacturers must meet strict standards and agree to random independent inspections.
This rug is incredibly soft, the pattern is beautiful and it’s 1000000% not the color shown on the site. The gray is a very light greige—definitely some taupe woven in. My husband is calling it “dirty cream,” which sounds worse than it is. We’re keeping it because it looks much better than the rug it’s replacing and returning it would be a massive hassle.
The gray is really taupe/yellowish gray and not a cool neutral gray like the image. I really wanted to exchange it for blue which seems more like a cool gray but I also didn’t have the time to deal with a return since the rug was for my second home couple hours away and I needed to leave soon. So I decided to keep it because of the hassle but the more I look at it, the actual color vs image shown online is very misleading and really dissapointing. However the pattern and quality is really great at this pricepoint.
I purchased this rug in taupe. Felt like there was a ton of reviews on the color difference on all the other colors, but did not see much on the taupe color so I crossed my fingers. I thought it would match my euro shams ( see photo) which looked like the online photo, but this rug is not taupe but more of a cream color. The color was SOOO off, but on the positive I like the rug and ended up keeping it pulled together the creams in the room instead.
It’s a nice rug...HOWEVER... the colors online and in person are not the same. I read that many people weren’t happy with the color of the blue rug so I went with the grey. The tag said it was grey but it was very taupe. It was so beige colored we had to return it. Wanted to exchange for the blue(since reviewers said it looked more grey) but target said target.com only items can’t be exchanged or re ordered for the sale price I got it for, since it’s an entirely different store? So I had to return it and loose the sale price. Then re order myself and pay more... currently waiting for the blue to get here.
I ordered this rug with hopes that the grooves shown in the photo were indeed blue (my couch is a light cobalt blue), but when I rolled it out you cannot tell. The rug is mostly grey, but very good quality and looks nice in my space. I have had it down for a few days and have not noticed any shedding. I give it five stars, but would say that Target needs to upload better photos and/or not edit the ones they have online so vividly for the blue to show up.
