Decided upon this calendar style board to organize complicated medicine regimen for an ailing pet. Functions wonderfully! We use it as a weekly calendar. The built in corkboard feature means any extra notes can just be tacked up and referenced.
The board is great but the marker never worked. We didn’t think to test it prior to putting our board up so it was easier to buy new markers than to take the board down and exchange it for a pen. Not a huge deal just a little inconvenient.
I've been using this type of dry erase calendar for 10 years now. Unfortunately, several years usually pass before I buy a replacement, so I couldn't remember with which brands I've had problems. I knew from past experience not to use the mounting tape provided because one of my boards had died from falling off a wall after 2 years, so I've mounted my boards with nails since. However, 4 months into owning this one, I see the calendar is already starting to warp and slide into the corkboard portion (see picture). I've had this problem before (possibly the same brand, but since I can't remember, I'm keeping track now!) and it only gets worse with time. The calendar will eventually fall off completely. Literally back to the drawing board with my calendar search!
I was excited about this find, thinking $14.59 was reasonable for a large dry erase calendar/cork calendar. I assumed it was a hanging board, but it's not. It's secured to a wall with 6 small velcro strips, strips that do not stick well. After hanging, it fell within a couple of days. And continued to fall after rehanging three times. It finally breaking beyond the point of repair. Save your money and rid yourself of the headache.
I like the board as a whole, but after only 2 days hanging on the wall , it fell off. The tape is no longer sticky enough to rehang it. So I got to use it for 2 days. Now I have to figure out how to hang it. I got this type because I didn’t want to put holes in my wall, but I guess now I have no choice.
