I like these but when I tried to get more collors online, I found that the size of these was different than most map pins online. These have a slightly bigger head than most. The others are 1/8 in while these are 3/16 inch heads. I got them to show the different virtual runs I have done (a color for each company/license) and it just looks a bit odd when they are next to each other because of the difference.
Nice pins!

Target was the only local store that I could find map pins and that was exactly what I needed them for.. a map. They work well and are perfect length for just marking items on a map.
Cute, but the head is way too small

The colors are vibrant and cute. However, the head is just way too small for push pin, so it is hard to pick it up! And, the head falls off too easily… In the box, I already see a couple of pins without head. So.. is this quality issue? Another thing, they could have made the box a little better so we can use the original box to store the pins. You have to transfer the pins to a different sturdy store box since the original box they send is very flimsy and it doesnt close…
good for conspiracy theorists

These work. You can't find this color palette anywhere else. Believe me, I've looked. If colors aren't important to you, it is possible to find them cheaper. But these pastel shades are the prettiest ones I've found. Worth the extra few $$.

I loved the colors and style of these pins. My only complaint is that the plastic was stuck together on about 20 of them making them unusable

Thanks Target for having actual options for map pins. The other local stores I checked out only had primary colors!

I hoped that the picture online was just washed out. I had bright, primary colors in mind - these are just like the picture, kind of pastel tones. No big deal. They still have pokey, little points on one end and a round, not pokey, ball on the other end. So far every pin I've tried has successfully stuck in the map and stayed right where I put it. What more can you expect from a map pin?
I like thumb tacks.

I think that these thumb tacks really speak to my sole. I love the different colors, it makes me like I finally have control over something because if I want to use the pink ones I can use the pink ones, but if I have a day where I think the pink ones and the blues ones look good together and then I have a day where I don't want the pink ones but I want the yellow one I can use the yellow ones. I think that the four different colors represent the four different elements. pink for fire, blue for water, yellow for earth and orange for wind because when I hear the letter W I think of walruses and walruses color is brown and in this box of thumb tacks the color orange is the closes color to brown.
