A: I have wine glasses with chalkboard labels and they worked well enough, but the marker looked a little dripper, being thicker and darker at the bottom of every letter. I also have chalkboard-painted wooden labels (the real reason I bought these); they don't show up very well on them at all and the light writing doesn't look like it'll come off.
