Q: Has anyone used these on chalkboard type labels? If so, how did they work?

A: I have wine glasses with chalkboard labels and they worked well enough, but the marker looked a little dripper, being thicker and darker at the bottom of every letter. I also have chalkboard-painted wooden labels (the real reason I bought these); they don't show up very well on them at all and the light writing doesn't look like it'll come off.

A: Hi Momster, thank you for your interest in our chalk markers! They are designed to resist ghosting on boards, but we do recommend trying them on a small spot just in case the chalk surface is overly porous. Using a damp cloth can help insure marker residue is compeltely removed.

These markers are absolutely terrible. When they do work properly, the writing is so light you can't read it, but MOST of the time, the ink POURS out of them and globs onto the board. Complete waste of money!

Got this for practicing alphabet/numbers with toddler on whiteboard and chalkboard - HUGE MISTAKE. It leaks everywhere and won’t wash out of clothes or toys nearby, especially the orange. Ruined chalkboard, it will not wipe off no matter what I’ve tried.

Ruined my brand new chalk board! They did not erase all the way from a brand new chalk board I purchased. I cleaned multiples times. Terrible product. The pink is super inconsistent and doesn’t write well. The only good color is the green but that stained my chalk board too! No ease of writing with these markers, they’re all together terrible. I bought, despite reading all the bad reviews, and now I regret it. What a waste.

There are horrible used as chalk markers. They don’t show up well (looks much brighter in the pic) but the worst part is that it didn’t erase off my board!!! Don’t worry waste your money or even worse, damage your chalk board :(

Wish I'd read the reviews before I used them. I cannot get them to erase off my chalkboard. I'm going to have to repaint it, which sucks because it was brand new and a gift from a friend. I feel terrible about ruining it. These should be marketed as whiteboard markers that have a chalk look/finish. At least they wipe off my whiteboard.

Terrible markers! They did not erase off my chalk board and now I am having to either paint with chalk board paint or throw it away. Completely damaged it. It does not erase with soap and water not even vinegar. Do t waste your money on this. Not worth it. One more thing the blue does not show up bright at all on a black chalk board

These markers only work well if you are writing on a horizontal surface. If you try to write on a white board that is mounted on a wall they don't work. When trying to write on a mounted white board the ink doesn't flow to the tip so you either get thin ink like the marker is dried out or a gush of ink that ruins whatever you were writing. You have to press the tip for the ink to flow but if the pressure isn't juuuust perfect it will spurt ink onto your hand, clothes, and white board.
