I bought 6 of these in sizes from 4-8 in., to use in 2 outdoor hurricane lanterns. Of all the candles I burned (votives, tapers etc) from other stores, these by far were the best. Did not drip a lot. Burned well, and stayed lit. Didn't burn down much. Still a lot of wick left, and it's not buried in the wax. We only used them about 4 hours so I can't speak yet to their durability, but so far, so good. And you can't beat the price.

It's getting harder to find unscented pillar candles now as everything is moving to jarred candles. This one is okay. It gives off a decent amount of light and looks nice on a table. Its biggest drawback is that it doesn't last at all. It burns really fast and the wick comes out about 3/4 of the way down. 3 stars because it's relatively affordable.

If you don’t plan to light this candle, then it’s a fine, affordable basic. I’ve had this for a few months, and about once a week I try to light it. I’ve also tried all kinds of things, and can sometimes get a little bit of a flame, but it goes out in a few seconds. So frustrating!
