Can’t comment on the quality of the item. I ordered this car seat twice and both times the boxes came completely destroyed so I had no confidence that the safety mechanisms of the car seat were still intact. Buy elsewhere - not worth the time or hassle dealing with Target on this

This car seat is so well designed that it saved my son’s life. We were in a terrible car accident, a semi rear ended me and my car flipped and we ended up on our side in a ditch and my son remained unharmed. The car seat hugs your baby so it’s like a bubble wrap essentially. I recommend this car seat to anyone. I know it is a little pricey for just the seat but price doesn’t matter when it saves their lives.

Big fan of this seat! We've been using another popular brand's seat for the last 8 months and when my husband picked up this one he said "whoa." It's so lightweight. Much easier to maneuver around with a baby in it than most other seats l've carried. I wish I had this one when my baby was a newborn and I carried her in her seat everywhere. My favorite feature is the extra long canopy - this is not something I understood the importance of until the sun is in my baby's eyes on a walk or drive and the canopy on the seat or stroller isn't long enough to shade her. That is never an issue with this extra long canopy and I'm never going back! The foot cover is awesome too - thoughtfully designed to work with the car seat and nice and warm for my baby. The handle going all the way back to be a kickstand is super helpful too. I just wish my baby would fit in this longer! She's a big baby and will probably outgrow this seat by her 9m bday, which is a little sooner than I want to upgrade to the next seat. I will definitely recommend this to friends and family - especially if they think they'll have smaller babies, as there are lots of helpful features for little babies included.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have loved the Aria V2 car seat, for a lot of reasons - but especially for the fact that it is SO lightweight and easy to carry around. We have tried other car seats, and they are much heavier, bulkier and less convenient to travel around with - so this feels like a breeze compared to those. We currently have small cars, so the sleek design is perfect for saving space. Installing car seats in our cars is never super straightforward, because of the shape of our seats, but it was not too bad to install this one. Our baby seems to LOVE the comfort of this car seat. She almost always falls asleep in the car in this seat, which wasn't the case with other seats we tried. She also never puts up a fight when we put her in it - which is very helpful, and a good sign that she must be pretty comfy! The XL sun canopy has spoiled us - we have loved how much it can shade her from the sun, and put her in her own little cozy "cave" for a naps on-the-go. I think we will always prefer a bigger canopy like this now! And of course, as the weather gets cooler, it's helpful to have the foot cover as well, since you can't bundle a baby too much in a car seat. When I first saw this car seat, I thought it seemed so much smaller than others I have seen and was curious if that would be uncomfortable for the baby - but the opposite seems to be true! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of the Aria V2 was how attractive and soft the fabrics are! I appreciate the softness in a product for a baby, especially the harness covers that are sometimes in contact with my baby's skin. I also love how the fabrics are machine washable and contain no flame retardants. My baby is too big for the inserts, but they feel like they would be very supportive and comfortable for a smaller baby. Installation instructions were straightforward, and I like the colored indicators. It fit easily in my small car (Prius C). The load leg and anti-rebound panel are really nice safety features that I haven't seen often in infant seats. The foot cover is a sweet bonus as well. I haven't used it yet but with winter approaching I'm sure we'll use it when the seat is in the stroller. The no-rethread harness is super convenient—no detaching and reattaching! I also love the huge canopy. I don't worry about the sun bothering my baby's eyes or waking him up if he's napping in the car. It can pretty much protect him from rain too. The seat is very lightweight, but I wouldn't consider it significantly lighter than our other infant seat. Even though it's the lightest seat available, I still find it cumbersome to carry my baby in it. That's my issue with all infant seats though, not specific to this car seat. Thankfully, I was able to get adapters for our stroller so I can pop the seat in and not have to carry it. Overall, I would recommend it—no complaints! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a 6 month old baby and thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel we were able to try the Aria V2 car seat. There are a few things I really enjoyed about this car seat. The first being how light it is! I've never felt a car seat that's so light. It makes it a lot easier to get it in and out of the car. The other thing I really enjoyed about this seat is how easy it is to install it. We used the LATCH system and the seat lets you know if it's installed correctly or not. Instead of having to manually tighten the latch straps with a buckle the seat will tighten the straps for you as you push it into place. It's a very easy install. A few other things worth mentioning are the no rethread harness, you just adjust the seat with the click of a button, much like other convertible seats or high back boosters. I found this neat and a helpful feature in an infant seat that I've not seen before. The sun canopy comes down pretty far to give a good shade option for baby. Overall I was very impressed with the seat as a whole and would recommend this to any family getting ready to welcome a baby. As a mom of five, I've carried my fair share of car seats, and even though this baby is still small, I know how quickly the carrier can start to feel heavy as little ones grow. This lightweight carrier makes a huge difference when you're carrying it around all day. I also really appreciate that the fabric is free from fire retardant chemicals. I try to avoid unnecessary chemicals whenever possible, so that's a big win for me. Installation was super easy, and switching the base or seat between vehicles takes just a couple of minutes. The no-rethread harness is another feature I love — I still remember with my first baby having to take everything apart to move the straps as they grew. This setup makes those adjustments so much easier. The XL ventilated sunshade has been great. The simplicity & versatility is a complete win- our family loves that you could use this seat with its base and without, in the car The adjustable foot cover is one of my favorite things about this car seat. Fall is here, temperature is dropping, but the foot cover kept my baby was cozy and comfy with the foot cover. With Aria, we could keep the sunlight out of baby's face & body completely by simply pulling down the sun shade/canopy down a bit more - the coverage level was delightful! That's an option we didn't have with the other brands we tried. It is lightweight, feels compact but packs a punch in how intuitive it is. We were able to get up and go with a lighter seat without feeling bogged down. It even has no-rethread belt!! The simplicity of the adjustable head rest and harness endears it to hearts as the baby grows with the car seat. Goodbye to fighting harnesses to find a right fit for a growing baby! After strapping baby in, he seemed so comfortable and well supported that he fell asleep shortly after we got in the car. Everything fitted perfectly and felt safe and secure. An itty bitty frustrating feature was the handle bar adjustment knobs which were a bit hard to maneuver simultaneously with the bar itself. The push down knobs on the car seat were stiff and needed some effort to push. Hopefully, it improves with continued use. As a mom to four kiddos and over a decade of car seat use, there are certain features I believe every infant car seat should have. The Aria V2 hits nearly all of them: fool proof installation, strap holders, comfortability and safety. This was the easiest install I have ever done and we have installed many car seats in various vehicles over the past 11 years. I love the auto- retracting latch system and the red to green indicators. This makes installation nearly fool proof. I imagine this to be an excellent choice if you have other caregivers using the seat, like grandparents, because you can rely on the indicators to help ensure proper install. I did however notice that after nearly every car ride, my base indicator is back to red or in the middle of red and green. This may be a user issue, so we'll keep trouble shooting. As far as comfort, baby seems to like it compared to our previous seat of a different brand. He is in the 99th percentile for length at 4 months old and 27" long, so we are grateful for the extra leg length. He also has a better view when in the seat to look around and I think he likes that. Comfort for me is mixed. I absolutely love how lightweight it is compared to other infant carriers. However, the handle bar is too thin and digs into my arm when holding the seat. I don't know many moms carrying the seat in hand only, as it's too heavy and awkward to carry in that position, so I will be adding an after market cushion to the bar to help ease the weight. I am thrilled to have strap holders!!! This is a must have feature so you do not have to dig underneath baby to find their straps. It makes getting a wiggly baby into the car seat so much easier! The extra long sun shade is a bit too 'extra' for me. I could do without the small extra piece that can be tucked under. I find that it doesn't stay tucked up very well and easily falls down. When down, it's nearly a blackout for baby, so this may be nice for a brand new baby but at 4 months + it's unnecessary. We haven't used the all weather canopy yet but look forward to it this winter. My last favorite feature is that there are no flame retardants in the fabric. We live a low-tox lifestyle and love the option to choose a seat with less toxins. Overall, this is a great choice for an infant seat. It's quite pricey but if you plan to have more children I think it's worth the investment.

Our baby was born in July, so we were able to immediately put the car seat to the test in hot and sunny conditions. The ventilation seems excellent; the baby never got hot or sweaty. He also seems very supported in the seat. At four months old (he is 50% in weight but 90% in length) he still fits well, confirming that the adjustable design is works for his different growth stages effectively. The XL sun canopy is very useful and we use it on every single outing to provide coverage and protect his eyes from the sun. It's truly oversized and can completely shade him, but it is also retractable if we want to give him a little sunshine. I feel reassured by the safety and sturdiness of this car seat. When installing, I really liked having the green gauges on the base, which clearly tell you that the seat is installed and positioned correctly—a relief the first time I installed it. Regarding installation, setting up the base did take a little bit of time, and I did need to watch an official YouTube video provided by the company to ensure I got it right. However, the video was clear and made the process manageable. The No-Rethread harness takes a little bit of getting used to but it is quite easy and seems to fit well and seems secure. The Aria V2 fits seamlessly into our stroller, which is awesome and makes transitions incredibly smooth. This is also probably our favorite feature. As for looks, my wife is very happy with the color we have, which is a nice bonus when gear is constantly in and out of the house. Where do I even start, this car seat is amazing I love it. The car seat itself is super lightweight which is helpful given I gave birth to a 10lb baby through a c-section, so I can't lift anything heavier than my baby. Even though my baby is on the bigger side as a newborn, she fits perfectly in the seat and has more than enough space. I love how convenient it is to adjust the harness and headrest as she grows. Installing the base was incredibly easy and quick with a red/green guide to ensure safe installation, plus a load leg for extra safety and stability. Other small details like the button to snap the extra harness strap so it's not in the way, and the side buckles to hold the belt straps while placing baby inside the seat are a nice touch to the car seat. My absolute favorite feature is the XL sun canopy, I don't ever have to worry about the sun hitting my baby especially in this California sun. It covers my entire baby lol all I see are her tiny toes when the canopy is fully extended. Can't wait to try the all-weather foot cover as the days are getting colder now. Overall, this car seat is perfect. It's convenient, safe, lightweight, and comfy all while looking and feeling luxurious. Gives me peace of mind and would 1000% recommend to everybody!

The most amazing feature is how easy it is to install securely in the car; you never have to wonder if you did it right, wish than you were stronger, or get exhausted and frustrated trying to get it in. It is SO simple. One of the selling features is that it is so light - which it is! - BUT I don't think this would make much of a difference to me because carrying any amount of weight for long stretches gets old, which is one issue I have with this system; I wish it was sold along with a stroller base or adapter for a stroller. My previous stroller does not fit with this car seat, so I ended up having to put baby in the bottom basket. I think it is a bit pricey to have a separate infant car seat that does not universally fit in strollers. That is honestly my biggest issue with this car seat and if you have the money, I would encourage you to purchase them as a set. Some other amazing features are: it is super easy to click baby in, baby seems to be sat up more than other seats I have had in the past for infants, the material is SUPER soft and comfortable for baby, it is easy to spot clean, it comes with a blanket/cover to keep baby warm in cold seasons, it has a 360 degree shade to cover baby completely and keep him sleeping during his little car snoozes, it is easy to snap into the base, and the handle bends all the way to the ground to firmly stabilize it.
