First, i actually like the smell. The licorice scent is very faint but this stuff is really nice. The gel cleanser is so consistent for my skin. It makes my skin feel clean, as well as make my pores appear smaller. You only need a little bit and it goes a long way. I’m not saying that this is a miracle cleanser because it has only been a week but I think it’s going good so far. Use this twice a day as directed and it should work for you too.

I like this Urban Skin Rx Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser! It makes my face feel so soft, clean, and brighten after use. I've been using for some weeks now and it hasn't dried out the skin. The one thing I dislike but can tolerate is the smell; it smell like licorice to me. Other than the smell I think it is a good facial cleanser and would recommend to anyone that is looking for something new that feels gentle on the skin.

I have pretty sensitive skin so I don't like to switch up my cleanser that often to avoid any flare ups. This is probably my favorite cleanser now because it does not irritate my skin and also removes all of my makeup. The other cleanser that I use does not remove my makeup that well and I have to wash my face 3-4 times to get rid of all of it. I noticed majority of my makeup is gone with one wash. In the month that I have used this, my skin looks noticeably brighter and smoother. I will definitely be getting an another bottle of this cleanser.

I believe it may be the tea smell from one of the ingredients but there was a scent that I personally didn't like. I like the product itself as I am a fan of honestly all of the Urban Skin Rx Event Tone products however, I could not get over whatever sent was in my bottle. Definitely helps improve overall skin texture/brightness.

I'm so happy I was able to try this, it's sooooo good. It doesn't dry my skin out, I can almost immediately see a difference in my pores, the black tea in it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and it hasn't been long enough for me to see the kojic acid lightening to my dark spots but I know how good kojic acid is for exactly that purpose, so I'll be patient. But this stuff is really good, I love using it to take my make up off too !

I really like this cleanser because not only does it brightens the skin it also cleans your pores. It doesn't leave your skin feeling dry after use like some cleanser's can strip your skin of its moisture. The main ingredients are really good to and it doesn't have a strong fragrance. Urban Skin Rx Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser lives up to its name! I love how this gel cleanser is gentle on my skin. I didn't feel any burning sensation or irritation while washing my face. Also this cleanser did not irritate my eyes. I could feel my face becoming clean without my skin being stripped of its natural oils. My skin felt so soft and smooth. The beautiful natural glow my face had after I was finished with the cleansing process was amazing.

This cleanser is absolutely amazing and you can definitely start to see a difference in your skin within a week of consistent use. Thank you to BzzAgent and Urban Skin Rx for the opportunity to try the Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser for free! I feel like I'll need to continue using the product to start seeing results but the ingredient list is promising. The niacinamide, azelaic acid, Kojic acid all help in boosting brightness by aiding in the skin's renewal process and/or helping with hyperpigmentation. I didn't know that black tea had great skin benefits until now so it's nice to try it out in this cleanser. The cleanser is an amber- colored gel that smells a bit minty to the nose to me. It lathers nicely as well. This cleanser will last a long while so I'll keep on with it consistently.

Goes on clear, doesn't really have a major lather but it leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. It doesn't burn at all like other cleansers. I have dry skin and it doesn't dry out my face even more. In fact, leaves it feeling moisturized. This is a definite must have.

I love Urban Skin Rd products. I was excited to learn about the Even tone cleanser being turned into a gentle gel. I have used it for 2 weeks now and I have noticed my acne scars have started to lighten and the face is overall becoming the same color. As I have gotten older, anytime I get a pimple, I get a scar. It doesn't matter if I pop it or not. This gentle cleanser is great for everyday use to help keep those scars down. The gel feels nice and thick and turns creamy with a little bit of water. Every other wash I let it sit for 2 mins on my face to melt the even tone work it's magic. It rinses off well and does not leave my skin tight or dry. I absolutely love it. I did receive a sample for my review, but all of these opinions are my own.
