purchased on 2/8 and on 2/12 it’s completely molded. the cake is unopened. i looked all over the packaging and there is no expiration date on it. i was shocked to see the mold. very disappointed.

bought this as a gift for my son's teacher, on the 9th, when I'm getting his teachers gifts ready I see a white spot, thought I had overlooked it had frosting... nope MOLD. then I looked at the date best by 2/5! ughhh. Thanks Target

It's mediocre at best. There was no price listed, so I assumed this tiny xake was five bucks; imagine my surprise when, at home, seeing eight dollars on the receipt.

The most decadent chocolate cake ever
This is hands down one of the top 5 chocolate cakes I've ever had. It's so decadent and it isn't too sweet. It has the perfect chocolaty bitterness to it. The texture is like a mud cake. Nice and moist (I saw some reviews mentioning that it was dry, but it wasn't at all, I'm guessing the one they got was maybe an older batch) The frosting is like a dark chocolate pudding, not too sweet at all. My 8 year old loves it as well.

Very disappointed I bought this cake, got home realized the best by date was 1/30 that was 6 days ago also realized that it was all moldy. They should not be selling things that are 6 days old.

If you like crumbs...
I would recommend this cake if it cost about half of its current price. Good flavor overall but the texture is mostly crumbs. Be aware that the website picture is ALMOST actual size! When you're spending about $2 for a teensy-weensy slice, you shouldn't have to serve it with ice cream to really enjoy it.

This is what I imagine the chocolate cake from Matilda tastes like! Incredibly rich and soft. Perfect chocolate fix for sure.
