I absolutely love favorite day cookies located in the bakery section of Target. I’ve been buying them for quite a long time! They always taste fresh, soft, sweet and they never last because they’re so good!! I saw this new variety and saw so excited! I LOVE chocolate cookies. Plus throw on some sprinkles, who wouldn’t be delighted? The answer, me! I ate one of these the night I picked them up from the store and it was hands down the worst cookie produced by this line. The cookie tasted like old chocolate (the kind you forgot you had in your cabinet and grab a piece only to realize it’s too expired to even be sold at a dent and bent store.) It was such a task battling the cookie itself because the texture is partially soft yet hard at the same time with extremely hard heart-shaped sprinkles. Biting and chewing these cookies actually hurt my gums. It’s not like I can’t eat a hard cookie! But the rollercoaster of eating somewhat soft and hard parts of the cookie plus very hard heart-shaped sprinkles felt like punishment. Trying to swallow the cookie was what I would imagine swallowing paste would be like. It’s rare that the bakery has an item that I don’t love. Sadly, this is that rare time.

These are just stupid good. Ate them in less than 2 days and going back for more. 🐷
