I prefer pillow covers with a zipper for easy cleaning. This was a less expensive pillow so it does not have a zipper. The stuffing and exterior fabric are not as nice as the ones with zippers. I will make sure that I only purchase throw pillows with zippered covers from now on. They are generally much better looking and well made.
