A: No. It does not protect against COVID. COVID is a virus, not a bacteria. The Vaseline website says this product "...is not anti-viral, so it will not protect against COVID-19."

Q: The CDC recommends hand sanitizers contain at least 60% alcohol but you say this product doesn't contain alcohol. What is its active ingredient?

It says unscented but the overall smell is very overwhelming - I’m sensitive to scents and fragrance and this gave me a terrible headache everytime I used it. Love the concept though since regular hand sanitizer leaves my skin really dry

This product needs to be available in different sizes such as a smaller hand sanitizer for handbags and cars. I would also strongly suggest a pump dispenser like soft soap as I think this is a superior product that people would use throughout the home in lieu of soap. Well done vaseline! This is a winner for sure!

I liked the idea of it and initially the smell was what got me to buy it. I realized later that the smell is actually not so great, and if you don't shake it before applying it...it has some fishy smell. Also it is not moisturizing at all. I put it on after hand washing and unfortunately my hands still feel crusty. I prefer the 'Dry Hand Rescue' way more but they're never in stock at any Target near me.

This dries my hands out. I find it's better to use regular hand sanitizer the apply your favorite lotion.

This product is a great IDEA, so I rate it a 2. I love the idea of lotion and sanitizer in one, especially with the never ending viruses going around. My skin does not stay moisturized longer than 5 minutes before needing more of this. It says its non alcohol based, but it certainly dries my skin after use. Perhaps a bit more Glycerin would take care of this on my chocolate complexion.

Definitely moisturizes with light scent and without greasy feel. My problem is that the tube its in has sprouted a couple of holes at the top seam. So it leaks a lot. Can't be used in a bag because everything get covered with it. Has to be standing up on a counter. Ok but I bought it to take with me. So mixed review.

Although Vaseline advertises it as moisturizing but I couldn’t feel any moisturizing on my hand at all. The product is stripping my skin and the fragrance in it is sickening.

My hands tend to crack and bleed if I go outdoors in the cold and my skin is wet. It makes flexing my skin really painful. However, this cream is so great that it heals and moisturises my skin and prevents it cracking. My hands feel soft after a single use.

I really like this hand sanitizer, my hands don't feel dry or sticky. My hands are always really dry from washing and using regular hand sanitizers, Vaseline hand sanitizer leaves my hands soft.

This is exactly what it says it is. A sanitizing lotion. Goes on like lotion, soaks in extremely well/does NOT feel sticky in the slightest. Feels very soft on your hands. Only “knock” , but more of a suggestion... the scent; or lack there of, this would be absolutely amazing with a slight scent of lavender. Regardless.. great size (you only need a pea size amount) great value. Would recommend.

I bought this product on a whim when my regular lotion was unavailable and I'm glad I did! This lotion is pleasantly scented, light and leaves my skin soft. I wash my hands frequently due to my job and it's gentle on my dry, sensitive skin. A great addition to my sanitizing routine. Thank you. Please continue to make this product, and hopefully we will soon be able to purchase it in larger sizes. I use it both an home and at work.

Benzalkonium Chloride, the active ingredient, has been shown in rodent studies to be harmful to health and fertility. It's especially toxic if inhaled (which is why you don't see it in spray form)! It works well to kill germs and bacteria, but it shouldn't be in hand lotion, especially lotion people are using daily and using on their children!! Alcohol based hand sanitizing products are much safer! I wish companies were more upfront about Benzalkonium Chloride. It's really not that safe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using hand sanitizer so much the past two years and this one is my favorite! It comes out looking like a lotion and then turns to liquid sanitizer! It's so cool, my kids call it magic hand sanitizer. It leaves our hand feeling good and not to dry. It does get a little sticky if you use to much. The smell isn't strong which i love.
