The chocolate is my favorite; it blends the best! I add half a banana, half a teaspoon of instant coffee, PB&Me, ice cubes, half almond milk and water. After a few weeks of having a shake each day, my workouts are better and I just feel great overall. I don't always have time to eat all the veggies that I need, my skin looks better as well!

I drink a Vega Essentials shake every weekday morning. I toss some ice, a 1/2 cup of blueberries, and a scoop of Vega into my blender, add some water and that's breakfast. I love the taste and it has all the vitamins and nutrition I need to start the day. No need for daily vitamins, because it's all in the shake!

I love the chocolate flavor — it tastes more like food than other protein powder mixes. Better with milk but still palatable with water. If you're using water make sure it's very cold! It mixes perfectly with a hand mixer, adds a nice little froth on top. After it's been sitting 5+ minutes it separates into 3 distinct layers, so if I'm not drinking it right away I keep a fork nearby to re-blend as I sip. Just mixing with a fork to start out leaves it a little lumpy. I tried replacing 1/4 of the flour in a brownie recipe with this and it was DELICIOUS. Added bonus, the containers are very sturdy and have held up well so far to a few years of reuse/crafting.
