What It Is: This vitamin E-infused cleansing balm effortlessly melts away makeup and impurities without stripping moisture from your skin. As you massage it into your skin with wet fingertips, the oil-based formula softens to create a light, gentle milk that rinses clean with no oily residue. A: Hi there, either way! Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm can be used alone or as a first step in a double cleanse. It rinses clean with no oily residue, like with some other balms, so there’s no need for a second cleanse—only if it’s your preference. Although we haven’t tested our products for non-comedogenic certification, we haven’t had any complaints of pore clogging. And all of our products are formulated to the highest standards in the world (European Union standards), banning over 1,300 toxic ingredients to make the cleanest products possible with effective results. I really wanted to love this, but when I introduced it into my skincare routine, I broke out the day after first using it. I made the mistake of not checking if it was non-comedogenic when I bought it, and it turns out that it contains pore clogging ingredients that caused a really bad break out. However, my skin felt quite nice after initially using it, but beware if you have sensitive or acne-prone skin!

Not amazing. I found it to be oily and too strongly scented for my skin, especially around the eye area. Seemed like my skin broke out more once I started using it and it doesn’t always remove all the makeup.

I’ve been using this cleansing balm for awhile now. It does a great job at removing make up, I usually follow up with another cleanser. The balm itself is pretty light and dissolves pretty quickly into an oil. Know that it has a strong smell. It doesn’t seem irritate my skin because I wash it off pretty quickly. If you are sensitive to smells this might be too strong for you.

I have never been a fan of cleansing blams to take off my makeup. Ones that I have used in the past were messy, did not get the makeup off well and left my skin feeling nasty. My friend conviced me to try this one out and oh my gosh! I love it, it takes my makeup off SO easily and leaves my face feeling clean.

I waited to write this review after using the entire tub. I would say that this is a good step to use in a double cleansing routine. I would use this cleanser first, then follow with a regular facial cleanser. It did a great job at removing face make up, but when it came to the eyes I about fell out. As far as actual product removal I would give it a 4/5, however, since i was using it to take off eye makeup sometimes a residue would get into my eyes and it would be absolute chaos trying to get it out. I love Versed products but my gosh did it HURT. My vision would be blurry and a few times id literally have to wash them out under a sink and scrub with a wash cloth to get it out. My eyes would definitely be bloodshot after, but it would calm down after about 15 mins. It wasn't quite bad enough for me to stop using the product altogether, but I did get close a few times. I will say though a little definitely goes a long ways. Idk if it was user error on my part with eye makeup removal but I honestly don't know how else you would use it in order to get all product off.

I really liked this for the first few times since it removed my makeup so well but after about a week I noticed I was breaking out hard on my cheeks (an area i dont tend to break out in) and my had an eczema flare up around my eyes. If you have sensitive skin, this is not for you
