Description
What It Is: Smooth texture, refined pores, clear skin? Look no further. This creamy pore polish detoxes pores and gently buffs away dead, dull skin cells. It’s formulated with superfine microcrystalline, a 100% plant-based, biodegradable alternative to microbeads, and an antioxidant-rich blend of black currant and raspberry leaf extract, which keeps oil production and inflammation (and thus, pesky breakouts) in check. Those teeny-tiny microcrystals (which are made out of cellulose) are uniform in shape--no gritty, rough, harsh seeds or shells here. It’s the creamy, gentle exfoliator for breakout-prone skin, sensitive skin, and really any skin type that’s seeking a softer, smoother, brighter complexion.
How to Use: Using circular motions, gently massage a quarter-size amount into wet skin for 60 seconds, rinse thoroughly with cool water, and pat dry. Use AM or PM 1-2 times a week, after cleansing and/or removing makeup.
How to Recycle: Remove the cap and throw it away in the trash. Cut the tube open (but not in half!), remove any excess product, rinse, and toss in the recycling bin.*

I alternate between using physical and chemical exfoliants, and this is my favorite physical one - the microcrystals are small and do the job, but sometimes it does feel like it gets into my eyes and causes a gritty feeling - I would just be careful to avoid the eye area

This is exactly what I was looking for! Gentle exfoliation compared to some harsher ones I’ve used in the past - my skin feels so soft. The scent is okay… reminds me a little of my old clean and clear morning burst lol I do agree a flip top would be more convenient, but not annoying enough (just 1-2 times a week) to make me take off a star. As far as the reviews of people struggling to rinse: I initially thought the same, but rinsing with cool instead of warm water (also gives this instruction on the bottle) seemed to help me with this!

The product does what it claims to do. It definitely resurfaced my skin and removed the sebaceous filaments I was feeling, HOWEVER this was very harsh. Definitely spot test first. I followed the instructions. It immediately started making my face red, itchy and swollen with bumps. I rinsed it off immediately and it was scary but luckily the reaction passed after a few minutes and air drying.

The screw top needs to be a flip top. Nobody has time to be screwing tops back on, esp in the shower where it goes flying when you’re trying to put it back on. Other than that it works fine but cheaper products could get the same job done. Scent reminds me of natural mosquito repellent products.

I dislike that this product keeps scratching my corneas and I’ve had to go to urgent care to get antibiotics to prevent infection. Feeling slightly reassured that I’m not stupid and that many other people have had this issue too. It feels like a paper cut on your eye ball. Don’t buy

I love this face scrub! The texture is perfect, not too thick and grainy but still enough micro-texture to scrub dead skin off and feel refreshed! I wish it came in a bigger size or even bulk size so it’d last longer because it’s definitely a hit or miss on it being in stock.

I totally judged the reviews saying this got in their eyes and I was wrong! I don’t love this, it’s difficult to rinse and isn’t as aggressive as I expected. Would recommend using in the shower so you can make sure it’s all rinsed off.

LOVE this stuff. Super fine exfoliating scrub that leaves your skin smooth and soft. Smells like raspberry green tea. It does a good job of “sticking” to your skin and doesn’t dissolve when you start to scrub. Because of this you have to be intentional about rinsing it off. I have sensitive acne prone skin and haven’t had any issues and my skin’s texture has improved. I use it twice a week.

This product did not clean my face well enough, there was often still residue left, product is also hard to wash off, leaves my face feeling grainy , micro crystals easily get into the eyes.
