A: We’re proud that the standard Vitamix line of blenders has a reputation for being able to blend anything, and has enough power and speed to turn cool ingredients into hot soup in just a few minutes. But we also realize that there are many customers who use their blender for a few basic applications, like smoothies, non-dairy milk, baby food, etc. The ONE is able to blend grains and nuts however, it is not meant to blend long enough to create nut butters or hot soups. The container was not designed to blend hot liquids, whether they are blended from room temperature or added to the container already hot.

Q: Do any of the components contain natural rubber latex? If any of the components are rubber or rubberized, can you confirm whether they're latex rubber or if they're TPE/synthetic?

A:Â Hi! There is no Latex used in any part of the Vitamix. Current Production Vitamix Containers Do Not contain any of the following: Polycarbonate, Polystyrene, Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene terephthalate (PETE).

A:Â Inside of the box, you will receive the motor base, the 32oz container, and a mini tamper. The container is made of Eastman Tritan, which is BPA-free. The Tritan material has been fully tested and deemed food safe by NSF.

VIta Mix finally made my dream blender! Vita Mix One is great! Love the smaller size, perfect for a small family. Big plus--it fits under my cabinets. It did not cost $500+ like the larger versions. (Color me happy) This size does everything I need: smoothies, sauces, soups. It does not heat or make peanut butter but I do not do that anyway. It says no grinding flour, but I put granola in my smoothies and it had no problem handling it. The control is simple, turn the knob up or down.

I'm raw vegan and have wished I could add greens to my daily smoothie bowl but I've never had a blender that didn't leave little bits or chunks (and it's all about the consistency, right?) ...this blender pureed my smoothie ingredients + raw kale into the most beautifully healthy green fluffy smoothie stuff! I'm so psyched!! I debated over getting the Explorian but I'm in transit alot and take my blender with me so I hoped this smaller/convenient one would do the trick, and it's amazing! (My only complaint is that I wish the jar was glass...)

For years I'd made my morning smoothie with a NutriBullet - that's all I used it for, and a Vitamix seemed like overkill. Also, I don't have much counter space. I worried that the Vitamix would be about the same, but maybe louder. I've been pleasantly surprised! The Vitamix makes a better smoothie, no question. The same smoothie I've had every morning for years is way better, way smoother, easier to blend. Also, the Vitamix is quieter than the NutriBullet! I wish I'd bought it years ago - really a great product.

The blender doesn't blend as well as I thought it would, especially for the price. It blends ice, but nothing else. It's a hassle blending frozen fruit or anything frozen besides ice. Disappointed really. I got it to make açaà bowls but it's just a pain at the point.

I love how my smoothies are so smooth now with this blender. There are no random chucks of kale or other fruits. I can get a lot more veggies into my smoothies now. There is a lot of power to mix all types of frozen goodies into a great tasting smoothie drink or bowl!

You HAVE to use the plunger or the blender won't blend. And you can't use the lowest setting for more than a second or two or the blender over heats. Pretty finnicky blender for how expensive it is. Huge disappointment.
