Vizio TVs Are Great

After 3 years of watching my first 43" Vizio TV, I decided to purchase a replacement TV for an older TV in another room. After doing due diligence in researching TVs, I elected to buy the EC43-C2. I have had none of the problems cited by others and am extraordinarily happy with my seconded Vizio. BT...see moreof the reviewer's review

picture is very good, starts up a lot faster than the old xfinity users may need to set their router Wi-Fi encryption to WPA PSK TKIP I had a hard time getting the apps to access the internet without that set. Otherwise very happy so far. Good to know customer support is on shore !

Perfect Picture When Adjusted

5 out of 5 stars

Vizio's picture setting are dull, dark, or washed out. If you play with the picture settings you can get a perfect picture to your taste. What worked for me: Turned brightness down, Contrast up a little, and color up more in the "calibrated Preset"

I bought this Thanksgiving 2015...... and it was my first flat screen TV........ couldn't be happier. I did have some fade of the picture about 60 days out, but think that was settings as addressed that and it was ok. The only thing I don't like is navigating the "Smart" feature, esp You Tube, whic...see moreof the reviewer's review

After I brought this TV home I noticed a high pitched noise coming from the speakers. I did a little research and found that this is a known flaw in this model. I was going to keep the TV and try to live with the noise but then yesterday the sound started to go out completely. I'm returning mine- ma...see moreof the reviewer's review

Let me first off start by saying I have always been a Vizio fan. I have owned 3 prior Vizios but this one was the worst yet. Just 1 year after purchase the entire screen blurred. Called Vizio..oops...your warranty expired. Apparently your TV's are only good for one year now. Forget their customer se...see moreof the reviewer's review

Horrible Glare

Purchased this TV to replace our 5 yr old40" Sharp. Turned out to be a bad choice. Unless it is dark outside and all the lights are off it is very frustrating trying to view this TV. The glare is terrible. It's a good entry level smart TV if you have complete control of the light in the room. Going ...see moreof the reviewer's review
