Can't hear baby crying even at full volume and full level five setting. Buttons are glitchy, if I push volume it will zoom it. If i push volume it will move the camera up. So I have to keep adjusting and pushing stuff in order to adjust the volume, zoom out etc. Thought the baby was just too small and little to be heard, so I waited a month or so, nope still can barely hear him. Have to put my ear up to the back of the monitor to even hear him crying hard. Will be returning
The worst! My mother in law accidentally broke our monitor while we were on vacation so she went and bought this one. I was excited for the large screen but when it got dark I couldn't see my baby. The sound cuts in and out. I would hear him cry from my room and the monitor wouldn't make a peep. I didn't want to tell her how horrible it was so I switched it out with our 3 yr old's monitor. A few months later and it no longer rotates to see different views(I use it to watch them play while I fold laundry etc and now I can't even do that!! My little girl has felt scared at night because she was yelling for me already scared and I couldn't hear her through this monitor. I'm mad because my MIL spent a pretty penny on a crappy product!!
I loved this monitor at first, good clear night vision picture, it pans around the room, the battery lasted about 3-4 hours, then the battery stopped working and it wouldn't hold a charge after about 3 weeks, then one day it wouldn't turn on at all even plugged in.
During the day a great system but at night the system isn’t good. Both my cameras don’t work correctly during the night. One doesn’t show a picture at all and the other one flashes on and off night mode. Do your homework before you buy the system.
This was the best monitor as far as features go until the night vision stopped working. It had every option I was looking for and more that I didn't even know I wanted. It was perfect!! It's too bad that this system is flawed...
The really sad thing is that the company knows about this defect and it still sells it. This dual monitor system was awesome and the customer service guy was very helpful when I called. It's too bad they wanted to replace this monitor with one that had even worse customer reviews. If the night vision didn't up and quit it would be perfect but after less than 40 days it did just that. It would work for about 2 seconds then go black. I could switch between cameras and go back to check on my son, see him for one to two seconds then the sme thing, black screen... totally bummed out because seriously this was great during the very short amount of time it functioned correctly.
