VTech DJ the Beat Boxer

I would have been nice if the toy had more obvious interactions because the only function my daughter and I could figure out by ourselves was how to play the same beat over and over. That got annoying fast. Because I didn't see the box and children don't read boxes, we didn't even know about other functions until I read other reviews.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is absolutely adorable. My two-year-old niece loves her DJ beat boxer puppy!! There are so many ways to play with it if you tap on the puppy in different spots that plays different songs and makes different noises. It is super interactive. I absolutely love is bobs it’s head and the headphones light up.

Very user-friendly , very well made and looks exactly as pictured. It makes for a very good birthday or celebratory gift for your littles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter gets bored easily with most toys within her age range however the VTech DJ Beat Boxer keeps her attention for hours. The ability to select a beat and add different layers of sound to create a song based on interactions with DJ is ingenious. My daughter is very creative and hasn't created the same song twice allowing for hours of play and interaction.

Overall, it's a nice toy to keep her occupied. We are always looking for new toys that aren't like the rest. This is definitely different and my daughter loves it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun little toy! As soon as we started it up, I couldn’t help but laugh watching the dog move it’s head back and forth. It’s fun hearing it so it’s beat box thing. And it’s fun to press the ear or let it to make other sounds. The record part wasn’t the easiest to figure out, and sometimes it was hard to get it to make sounds other than the regular one, but it was still fun!

This toy has provided hours of play time for her and quickly became her favorite toy. There is no shortage of things to do with it and quite frankly the music isn’t annoying like some other toys can be. She loves the colors of the dog and it’s put together really well. The stitching is definitely made to last. Worth every penny!

Just scratch her head, touch her nose, shake her paw, press her ear, or touch her headphones. Every interaction adds layers to the music you create and DJ with her! You can even record your own phrase to add in the song. She will nod her head and move her mouth to the beat of the song. She will bark, sneeze, and make other cute puppy sounds if you give her lots of love. DJ Beat Boxer is the perfect mix of music and creativity! I highly recommend!

The dog a nice size but is sort of heavy and kind of hard to carry being there is not anywhere small to grab besides ears. The dog is very cute and colorful. Only the two bracelets on the dogs paws are removable. The moving mouth is cute. And your fingers wont get pinched inside mouth. The head also moves back and forth. The headphones light up between green and blue colors. And light up red when recording. The music last for awhile when pressed and does not shut off soon like some other musical toys. The dog has many different sounds it makes when pressing head and nose. Its fun to hear all the werid sounds the dog makes. I couldn't figure out how to use the the recording option because the instructions are not included. I had to go online to see manual. But once I did it was fun and easy to use. This is a cute and neat toy many kids I feel would like to play with for awhile.

The purple boxer pup is just adorable and hard not to love. The fun sounds and activities keep my little one entertained throughout the day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 1.5 year old is really into music and dancing, so naturally he LOVES the Dj beat boxer dog. The tunes are catchy and I honestly find myself dancing to the music as well. The volume is just right, not too loud and not too quiet.

The music seems to last a good minute when pressed and doesn't shut off soon like other musical toys. They can also "pet it" where it acts like a dog. However, upon reading the description I thought it would do a little more. But it definitely helps with their imagination and they can touch different parts to make their own beat boxing music!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How cute is this!? Beat…Boxer….Get the pun? It’s a boxer dog that plays music! Both my kids (7-F, 3-M) LOVE this pup. They love interacting with the buttons to play music and add their own recording. We do wish we could record a longer sound bite tho. The prerecorded music is good, not super annoying to us parents. It doesn’t drive me crazy when the kids leave it on and walk away. The dog moves its head and mouth/jowls - the kids think that’s the coolest - and the headphones around the neck flash and blink. The controls are pretty easy to figure out with just the advertised instructions printed on the box. No real How To instructions included, just where the batteries go and promotional material for other products. This would make a great gift for kids 3-8 years old.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this as a birthday present for a six year old girl. It’s very fun and engaging, but six might just be a tad too old for the toy. It does make some pretty cool bests, though! My best recommendation would be for a four year old.

My kids liked playing with it a lot, I did get a little tired of hearing it play after a while but they where having so much fun with it, I just let them play. I like that you can play with the beat by rubbing the head or pushing the nose and it has a few other things it does. My children where super happy with this Vtech Beat Boxer toy.
