The Zoo Jamz Xylophone from VTech lets your little composer learn the fundamentals of music with the help of a friendly light-up caterpillar! Young musicians can choose from three play modes that let them learn new songs one note at a time, repeat musical sequences from memory or freestyle a new piece that's all their own. And when it's time to take the show on the road, they can simply tug along the caterpillar using the mallet and string — giving them the power to create a musical symphony wherever they go!
This xylophone is a favorite toy for all three of my kids. They are 4,2 and 6 months. Each child loves the toy. The xylophone has the coolest option to learn the songs. My daughter has been practicing for an hour. My youngest son loves to watch the keys light up. I think this has been the best toy we have seen from VTech so far this year. My two year absolutely loved playing with this. He was so excited about making his own songs. So far he only likes mode one since the other two are too advanced for him right now. I like the added key light up feature and the super cute caterpillar design. It is a great size as well so he will still be able to play with it for years to come.

My son absolutely loves the Zoo Jamz Xylophone Caterpillar. He loves that it lights up and sings and he can use the drumstick to follow and copy the patterns. I love that it is interactive and fun while teaching to remember and copy patterns. It helps with hand/eye coordination. I also love that it teaches numbers and counting. It is very easy to understand as well.

Very cute and fun toy. Great for baby to toddler! My 1 year old nephew up to my 4 year old daughter have fun with this. The songs and lights keep them very entertained. The strong could be a little longer though but other than that it’s great! Great product for multiple ages! My two year old loves to drag it around and play it wherever he goes while my five year old loves that it teaches her to play songs. I love that there are multiple activities they can do so it keeps them entertained. Now if only they could figure out a way to share it and get along haha. Really great toy, both my 4 and 2 yr old like it. My 4 yr old loves the watch and listen setting, where he has to follow along and try to memorize the pattern. They both like the setting where they have to follow the lights to play the song. The only down fall to where I gave it 4 stars the that the string for the mallet is too short, I really wish it was longer.
Love this toy! Great for all ages. Love the 3modes because either mode the child is learning and having fun. My daughter loves the composer mode because she can play whatever she wants. The learn to play is great as they get older because it teaches them to play a song. The follow me mode is just as fun. Just wished the string was longer
This cute caterpillar encourages creative musical play. With three ways to play, kids will like following the lights to learn to play new and familiar songs or just play whatever they want. The toy can be played using fingers or the attached mallet. The volume can also be controlled and features automatic shut off.
