Not as consistently good as the two movies that proceeded it, but they were very, very good in my opinion, especially the second one. SPOILERS: Didn't like how two main, important characters seem arbitrarily killed just to create an artificial crisis for Caesar. The title is very misleading, suggesting a war and resolution to the 3 picture story that never happens (although what does happen is mostly still compelling). The ending seemed forced, not very believable, and not very satisfying. (END SPOILERS) THAT SAID, the performances and effects are incredible. Timothy Zahn steals the show, but the actors and animators that bring Caesar, Maurice, the "Donkey" are all excellent, as is Woody Harrelson. Even with its flaws I think it's a must-see.
