A: There is a detachable adaptor that the cord plugs into and then into the wall. If you are missing the adaptor, you may reach out to Gemmy customer service at 1-800-274-6717

Q: does it stay inflated without it being plugged in. it keeps deflating when I remove the plug.

A: No, the fan is only powered by plugging into an outlet. It will deflate when unplugged.

The one I got will not face completely forward. If I have his lower half forward, then his top half is facing away and vice versa. I think it wasn't stitched correctly. I got him on sale, and I really like him in theory. Target is sending me a new one, so hopefully that one faces all the way forward.

This is scary for very young children. My son loves to go walk around and look at decorations and my son saw this today and became terrified. He made us check the yard for scary elf’s. And was scared to go to sleep alone, which he has never ever done…

I really like this. The only downside is the length of the cord, you absolutely need an extension cord if you’ll be having it outside. We kept it indoors and it was a great addition!

I saw this on Target & thought it was SO FUNNY to add as a theme for this Christmas to change things up vs. the standard pre-lit reindeer yard decor or something cutesy. Plus I added an Elf hanging on a large ornament ball above Santa in my front window so it tied the Elf theme together. Everyone driving thru would get a laugh. A friend even bought one when he saw what I bought! It's funny when it's a bit windy & wobbles forward & backwards, simulating Buddy's excitement, LOL! The stakes have held in place so far even with some rain & drizzly conditions. I do check on it nightly because sometimes it inflates horizontally towards the stone wall & I've had to reposition him. Also, I have folded him over the fan after he deflates when I know it will rain, just to protect the unit from moisture. So far, so good & I'm ecstatic with my purchase! We'll have some freezing temps towards Christmas so we'll see how he holds up!! Go Buddy, go!!
