When a baby is born, their skin is much thinner and more delicate than our own. So it should be cleansed with only the gentlest and purest elements possible. WaterWipes are the only wipes made with just water (99.9%), specially purified and softened, and a tiny drop (.01%) of grapefruit seed extract– a natural skin conditioner. Designed to be gentle on premature, newborn, and sensitive skin, these hypoallergenic and unscented baby wipes are suitable for eczema-prone skin and allergy sufferers. Awarded the National Eczema Association of America Seal of Acceptance, registered by the Vegan Society, and dermatologically approved by The Skin Health Alliance.
WaterWipes were created by our founder Edward McCloskey after his newborn daughter suffered with bad diaper rash. After an extensive search, he couldn’t find a baby wipe that didn’t contain harmful ingredients that was suitable for her sensitive skin, so he decided to make his own. Many years later and after a lot of hard work, testing, and scientific research, WaterWipes were born. Pure, gentle, and safe for the most delicate skin, yet as convenient as a regular diaper wipe. Every day, parents around the world are discovering the benefits of our gentle and safe WaterWipes for their baby’s skin; we hope you like them too.
Our commitment to you:
At WaterWipes, we pride ourselves on making the world’s purest baby water wipe for newborn and sensitive skin. We fully understand that we also have a responsibility to help protect the planet your little one will inherit. Our biodegradable wipes are made from 100% viscose, a renewable, plant-based material which contains zero plastic. Viscose has a silky soft feel on baby’s skin and is strong, meaning it won’t break apart in your hand, so you can clean and change your baby with confidence.
The terms "flushable" and "biodegradable" are often used interchangeably, but they are very different. No water wipes, including biodegradable wipes, should be flushed. This is because even flushable wipes take time to break down in our sewer systems. Disposing of wet wipes with household trash is the best way to help protect our environment.
We previously made a commitment to having a 100% biodegradable solution without compromising on the purity of our product in 2021. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 situation has caused many issues with supply chains due to the unprecedented demands placed on them. Because of this, we’re sadly not going to be able to bring our customers biodegradable wipes until 2022. We are disappointed that we can’t bring you a sustainable option sooner, but we will continue to work closely with our suppliers during these unprecedented times, so you and your little ones can enjoy our biodegradable baby wet wipes as soon as possible.
Designed to minimize the possibility of an allergic response.
