I found if you over fill the popper with kernels you have more of an issue of the unpopped kernels flying out. I also don't use the cup to melt butter I use the microwave instead as I don't want to grease the top all up. We had one similar in style for 30 years and my parents did melt the butter in ...see moreof the reviewer's review

I had the same issues as some of the others. Kernels popping out early can be remedied by tilting the popper back a bit until it starts popping. As far as the top goes, I always let it sit a few minutes before pouring to allow the rest of the butter to melt. All in all, especially for the price, thi...see moreof the reviewer's review

My only complaint is that the butter doesn't melt as fast as the popcorn pops. I previously had another brand that automatically turns on when plugged in. I like that this brand has a separate on/off switch. I did not have any issue with plastic melting on mine like some of the other reviews. Tip: I...see moreof the reviewer's review

I loved my air popper at first. I used it 3-4 times a week. I read the instructions carefully and used it exactly as directed. The last time I used it, I turned around to grab a larger bowl from the lower cupboard. When I turned back around, the air popper was on fire. I immediately filled the bowl ...see moreof the reviewer's review

We're the kind of weirdos who read the directions. When we got our new air popper we were so excited that we took it home opened it up, read the instructions, followed them to the letter, and STARTED A FIRE on our counter. Do not buy this product. It's a waste of money and a danger to you and your f...see moreof the reviewer's review

It didn't last 2 minutes. I turned it on. The outside casing got really hot extremely fast. It sounded like metal scrapping against each other. A huge gush of smoke started bellowing out of it. I then unplugged it to find all the popcorn seeds burnt to a crisp. After I poured the seeds out I gave it...see moreof the reviewer's review

I received the Air Crazy Popcorn Popper for free in exchange for a written review of the product and I can say that there are pros and cons of the machine. Considering the fact that I like popcorn, I was excited about receiving this product and couldn't wait to try it. It is very lightweight, compac...see moreof the reviewer's review
