I have an old Krazy Kettle which I really like. However, the cover is cracked and so I got a new one as a gift. I tried 3 times to pop popcorn and it appears the thing just does not get hot enough to pop. So, taking it back for a replacement since I really do not want to use anything but a Krazy Ket...see moreof the reviewer's review

I received this item as a Christmas present and loved it for the first month I used it. My popcorn came out perfect and it made everything a whole lot easier. I have had my Krazy Kettle for less than 6 months, the first time I used it the dome cracked on the top, then one side of the stirring arm broke off, now one of the handles on the side of the dome has broken off.
