Q: Does this brush have beads at the ends of the bristles????

submitted by Kadidra - 2 years ago
  • A: Yes, the nylon Intelli-flex tips absolutely have the beads. Tiny green tips, as shown on the boxed brush in the photo. I think the issue here is that Target has two different types of brushes shown on this page. The one I have matches the one in the box (which has Healthy Scalp on the outside).

submitted bysadinTarjayland - 2 years ago
  • A: Hi! Thank you for reaching out. No, this brush does not have beads at the end of the bristles. Hope this helps!

Q: Does boar bristles lower than intelliflex bristles, in other words does boar bristles reach to scalp?

submitted by YiBa - 2 years ago
  • A: Hi! Thank you for reaching out. Yes, the boar bristles do touch the scalp. Hope this helps!

Q: will the oil make my hair oily when i use it?

submitted by addisyn - 2 years ago
  • A: Hello! Thank you for reaching out. No – the oil is in the cushion of the brush and will not leave your hair looking oily as it is very lightly secreted and lasts around 6 months depending on use. The Synthetic Boar Bristles actually help bring naturally occurring oils from the roots of your hair down to your ends for enhanced shine. Hope this helps!

Q: how long does the tea tree last before it needs to be replaced? and is the brush good for dry hair and wet hair or just wet hair?

submitted by Aqt - 2 years ago
  • A: Hi! Thank you for reaching out. The oil infusion lasts approximately 6-9 months but depends on exposure to air and frequency of use. This brush is best to be used on dry hair, but can be used on wet hair. Hope this helps!

We have had this brush for a while and missed the part about using it with a little water. Now we absolutely love it!!! Our daughter wakes up with a rats nest in her hair so each morning, we spray some water on it and use this brush to comb out the snarled parts. Then we style as usual. I came back to buy one for my Havanese dogs. Going to try it on their wet hair as well.

Ants in bristles

Oh my gosh I do not know why or how but do not buy this brush because it gave me ANTS. I was going to use the brush when I noticed small black marks on it. Thinking it was fuzz I went to take it off when I realized it was a load of Ants all over the bristles. I’m assuming it’s because of the oils that are supposedly on the brush. This has never happened to me with any other brush so I will be switching back to my old one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design is super cute, the handle is easy to grasp and doesn't slip while using and is a good size to have a stable grip, and I really LOVE the dual bristle types. It's great at both detangling with the longer plastic type bristles and amazing at polishing and shining with the shorter, more compact, boar like bristles. Brushing my hair with this brush makes for a far more relaxing hair care time than usual. I was nervous about the tea tree because even though my scalp loves it, my nose simply hates the smell; however there was virtually no scent to the brush which is awesome because my scalp ADORES this brush and it definitely feels healthier after using it. For reference, I have a curly-coily 3c hair type past shoulder length and it definitely works for me.

I’ve been using Wet brushes for 5 years now and I will never use any other brush again, I decided to try the watermelon oil brush this time and it’s even better than I expected!! It leaves my hair so smooth and not “oily” feeling at all, I have straight hair and my sister has curly hair and she loves it so much I’m gonna have to get her one, 10/10 recommend, I tell everyone about this brand any chance I get

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have thick coarse hair that gets easily tangled! When detangling my hair i need a strong brush, this did not help at all. Tho brush is so soft and fragile. I tried to use this product while my hair was wet because it’s more manageable, but that didn’t work. The bristles on this brush are way to soft for my liking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Wet Brush makes it so easy to brush my thick hair. It gets through the knots easily and gives my hair a nice healthy shine. When opening, I was expecting the brush to smell like Tea Tree Oil but it didn't. So you don't have to worry about that particular smell if you don't like Tea Tree. It just gives your hair that shine while brushing so I can tell it's in the bristles. I absolutely love this new hair brush and really want to try the other Wet Brushes now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was extremely impressed with this Go Green Treatment Tea Tree Oil. Not only did it smell amazing, but I was able to use it for various purposes. I used it as a decompressor while I was feeling stressed out and I felt that it calmed me. I also used it on a bug bite and it immediately relieved the itching I felt. I would highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Wet Brushes. My kids and I have thick, 2C (wavy-curly) and it is the only brush that works and doesn't rip our hair out of heads. I prefer the original Wet Brush but figured I would try this one. Over all, it didnt rip the hair out of my head. But it did make my hair a bit frizzier. I did not notice any benefits from Tea Tree Oil.

Ok for smoothing detangled hair, no detangling power whatsoever for thick hair

My hair is "thick" in that it both grows densely & I have a lot of it, and also that each strand of hair is thick. I understand that with my hair type it's expected that I will probably need to start with a detangling comb, but this brush only does anything after my hair is already brushed. Can we call this a brush if it doesn't brush? I start brushing gently from the ends, and if there is any resistance in my hair at all the hairbrush just... does not move. If I section it into small enough sections that the brush can move through it, it's slower than finger detangling/brushing. If my hair is already totally detangled and brushed with another brush, this brush is great for smoothing my hair and giving it a glossy sheen, but that's about all it can do. I worried that my hair had suddenly become unruly until I ordered a second Wetbrush in a different style (longer bristles, smaller head, none of the soft/flexible secondary bristles) and I was able to detangle my slightly damp hair with it without any issue at all, so it really is that this particular brush just does not work with my hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a lot of expectations for this product and it let me down. The brush itself is fine and works well with my thick hair but I'm not getting the effect of the tea tree oil. Even when brushing my wet hair, I'm not feeling the oil or the smoothness that I expected. However, I think its still a decent brush that works well to detangle thicker hair.
