Use this Whink Rust Stain Remover to get rid of those unsightly stains in your sink, bathtub and toilet. Rust stains are caused by what's in your water. Too much iron causes reddish-brown stains when the iron is exposed to oxygen. If your water has a low PH balance, this will cause rust or blue-green colored stains to appear. Whink rust remover is specially formulated for removing rust in pipes, septic systems, toilets, sinks and more. Water doesn't only stain your fixtures but, over time, can stain your laundry too. This stain remover is safe for colorfast fabrics and carpets. The 16 fl oz bottle of Whink stain remover features a narrow top to control the amount applied. Always wear heavy-duty household rubber gloves when using this product. You should apply it at least once a month to prevent the stains from setting in. While this product removes stains, it's not a general purpose rust remover. It's safe for all white sinks, tubs, toilets, pipes and septic systems. Use the Whink Rust Stain Remover to eliminate rust stains quickly and easily.

Worked great!!!! However, the instructions said not to let it sit. The instructions said to use and wipe. I wasted too much product pouring wiping and scrubbing, no results!! What I had to do was pour a little on the stain and let it sit checking on it every 5/10 minutes because I was going against the instructions and I did not want to burn a whole in my shower with chemicals. You do NOT see it working instantly. On one of my check ins I saw a bit of a difference, rinsed it off put a little back on and let it sit and repeated this process as it lightened more and more until it was gone. I don't know how long you can actually leave it and I didn't want to risk it so I kept checking on it ever 5 min. I did take more than an hour to get rid of it though. I imagine that depends on how bad the stain is. I live in a apartment so it was really important to get the stain out before lease was up. I had tied everything vinegar, baking soda, comet, bar keep, comet, bleach, shower and toilet gels and a combination of the mentioned items. NOTHING WORKED. This was one those like plastic or acrylic shower floors with a non-slip texture. The shower was big enough to put one of those shower stools in there. But I had not noticed that the stool I got had screws in exposed holding the rubber grips!! And I had left it like that for 2 years!
I am very happy with this purchase.I should of took before and after pictures.I really bought this thinking there was no way it would work as good as it did.In my shower there is a soap holder that's built into the shower wall and it had rusted so I used this stuff on it and it looks so much better. It did take time and a good couple of scrubs it didnt just come off I did have to use a sponge. Its not completely gone but it looks way better now.I definitely recommend giving it a try.
I had tried to remove several rust stain from porcelain using CLR with no luck. I squirt this on and literally watched the stains disappear! If you follow the instructions, it has fairly limited uses...so, be careful, it's strong!
Wish I had before & after pics! Scrubbing with toilet brush did not remove rust layer. Squirt some Whink around & under edge of bowl and let it sit for five minutes. Swished brush around in bowl and flushed- Voila! Perfectly white bowl once again!
For all those out there looking to clean random things, you can stop searching. Yes, this is the whink that works magic, especially on glass. I've had glass that was stained and seemingly impossible to clean. I had a vase that had brown stains and white water marks. I poured in the whink, let it sit for a few minutes, and everything rinsed right off. No scrubbing or wiping involved. Just rinse with some hot water and you'll never have dirty glass again! My friends were so impressed I had to buy them each a bottle of their own!
We bought our home 4 years ago and have struggled with rust stains in our bathrooms ever since (first home with well water). I have spent hours scrubbing the showers with various products and still could not get the stains out completely. I was told about this product today and went out to get it a few hours later. It took me a mere 15 minutes to get ALL the rust stains out of the two shower stalls and one tub/shower combo. This product changed everything and I’m still shocked at how well it worked!
In the photos I am including, the before picture has a white spot to the left of the drain, that was what happened when I did a test spot with this product. I am excited to tackle the stains in the toilet bowls!
We sometimes have too much iron in our water and get rust stains when we don't stay on top of the salt in our system. Our sink was stained orange, and just squirting this in the sink immediately removed the orange coloration completely.
