I almost didn’t purchase this item due to some of the negative reviews on here, and I’m so glad I ended up buying it. Assembly wasn’t too bad at all. I built it by myself in about an hour-and-a-half and put a blanket down so as to not scuff any pieces. The instructions are very straightforward, and they clearly tell you how to avoid ending up with uneven doors in the front (mine came out nearly perfect). I LOVE the style of it, and the extra storage is a huge plus. It’s also a very sturdy piece (heavy and no wobbling).
I ordered the “eggshell” color, and you should know it’s not a pure white. Most of my other furniture pieces are pure white, and I feel like this tv stand fits in nicely with them even though it’s not the exact same color.
To give you an idea of the size, the tv in my pictures is 44 inches.
I’m very pleased with this tv stand. The quality is excellent for the price, it’s solid, and it arrived with no flaws. The odor that everyone is complaining about is simply the paint, and diminished over a few days after assembling (in my opinion, nothing to write home about). I have a 50” tv that sits perfectly on top, and all my dvds and electronics fit nicely inside. There are no issues with the remotes through the glass.
Very pretty and sturdy. My daughter and I put together. It did require some extra time. Instructions very clear and easy to follow. I would place item on blanket in floor when putting together. I barely knocked a piece on our hardwood and it chipped the paint a little.
Worked fine for about three years. I went to open one of the doors today, which we hardly ever open since everything is at the touch of a button these days, and the screws in the top hinge popped out. I went to put them back in, and the composite wood was completely stripped away. I realize this is on me for purchasing substandard materials/furniture. I still think it should last longer than that. Lesson learned.
Instructions were easy to follow. Just a hunk of junk.
